bad one???-___- the other one is H-O-R-I-B-L-E!!! slow start, cant attack or something if ur oppoent still has more than 3 prizes and something and teh attack is pretty bad, 3 diff energy, usually dies after 1 hit of a 120 and then does 40....i just say out of those 2 regis, the one not holo is better...(not saying its good also..)

Changed your oppinion pretty fast. I will agree this one is better in most cases, but the other shines and becomes a game winner when your opponent takes 3 prizes (not if your opponent uses spiritomb, then commence raging). Neither is horrible, but most would agree the non-holo is better.

Without fail, PUI again produces an utterly terrible card for us to "preview."

You can stop now, idiots. We don't need your moronic previews anymore.

You must be kidding this is an awesome basic. 100 HP basic that can do 60 for 3 and then +20 and 20 to a benched pokrmon on a heads flip. And a body that heals it with an energy attachment. I cant wait to put this in my daughters deck. She should have a lot of fun playing with this card in Battle Roads this fall.

POP doesn't just have visitors from the PokeGym and PokeBeach, you know. There are countless other fans who read their site who don't visit the ones we do, and just because you think it's moronic or that they shouldn't be posting anymore doesn't mean other fans who don't know about the above two sites feel the same way. :/

It isn't horrid. If I played Regi lx, I'd play this. 100 for 3 colorless isn't bad, even for a flip. And snowpoint gives you 120 hp, which means you can last a while. You should usually get 160 damage out of this regi. Not great, but not horrid by any means.

I forgot, with no DRE or Scramble in the next format, this MIGHT be ok. Still wish it had another attack, though. 1 for 20 or something.

But, yeah, I now view the card as mediocre. Upgraded rating FTW.

Which is exactly why I bashed them on Pokegym rather than sending them a hateful emo-mail.

I don't have to like their preview selection process just because I'm outnumbered. : )

A couple questions regarding card quality.

    1. How much must an attack do in order to be considered good?

    2. Is any attack costing more than 3 energy automatically considered bad?

    3. Are coin flips in an attack considered bad?

    4. Does doing damage to a Benched Pokémon as well as the Defending make the attack any better?

Because you guys have some high expectations for cards.

I remember people dissing Charizard ex, something that can do 200 damage.

I think people even considered Lugia ex bad, which also does 200.

Well, I thought the card was bad mainly because it would be outsped by anything with DRE, but I forgot that DRE will be rotated out pretty soon.

    Directly answering your questions:

    1. It depends on several other factors, not just the attack's damage. For instance, the attack might have another effect (like Poison or bench damage) which would move it up a few notches. The card's ability to combo with other cards also has something to do with it's playability 9(r example, Nidoking kinda sucks, but he's much better when played with Nidoqueen), as does any negative effects of it's attack (like self-damage or discarding energy).

    2. Generally, yes, unless it has an utterly amazing effect. This is especially true of the next format, where Energy cards which provide more than one Energy will be killed off.

    3. This is s tough one, and it all depends on one's opinion regarding luck. For example, I have terrible luck in almost every card game, so I automatically look at an attack and judge it on the merits of a tails flip. hence why I dismissed Regigigas' attack as a mere 3 for 60.

    4. Yes, always.

Well, Charizard ex was terrible for a number of reasons, the main one being that you had to discard FIVE ENERGIES in order to do anything worthwhile. Lugie ex was good because it was a basic, and it's Energy requirements were easily met for LBS, Metanite, and any other deck which could speedily place Fire, Water, or Lightning Energies.
