the ball is in PK.

3 GreatBall is a good way to find basic without using supporters, and you always need only one basic, so great ball is perfect.

mcHamma:go away if you think that this isn't a deck.Come back here when you'll lose to this in a tourney.

so with that 3 great balls are mentors out? i assume that yes because you don´t need a full bench in this deck anyways.

no full bench, yeah, yust 2-3 benched pokymanz.

I use 3 great ball or 2 greatball + 1 mentor (for scottaway).

Anyway, i prefer the first version without mentor/scott/BF

So far, this is the HP-DP2 Trainer list I plan to post to Front Page in the near future.

2 great ball
1 mentor
3 celio's
3 rare candy
2 prof rowan
2 steven's
1 team galactic's bet
2 battle frontier
1 scott
3 castaway
3 cessation crystal
1 crystal shard (or, 2 ideally, if you can make space)
4 plus power
1 warp point, or switch
1 night maintenance

Nice list. I know that we are losing Briney's in the HP-DP1 format but since it has been useful I think that I would
- team galactic's bet
+ super scoop up

no super scoop up.I'm sooo bad with the coin..(even the dice:lol:)

KG:no bet and maintenance in HP-DP1

2 shards
0 bet
0 maintenance
+1 great ball/celio/strenght charm

1000+ replies?O_O

We definitly need a fan club ;P

More like a life. I actually never have lost to Mario in a tournament, cuz Im in FL, nobodys bad enough to play it, sorry. Mario = just a collection of cards used to donk the opponent.

I think this may be the most replies on a deck that's not an Archetype...

Nice...

I like the DP trainer list you have there KingGengar. I'm not sure about Team Galatic's Bet, though, as it could easily backfire. I'll have to test, but I might remove it for a 3 Steven's...

I still don't undestand why people hate Mario or those people post there even if they think that this is a bad deck..

Its a nice deck....I have benn playtesting my Infernape deck against a list similar to KingGengar´s one and its a pretty solid deck. It has a minor problem when the game starts delaying, this is, after say 10 turns Lucario loses its punch, but thats where MAchamp kicks in.... Its defintely one of the best decks right now. My respects.

I still don't undestand why people hate Mario or those people post there even if they think that this is a bad deck..

Because of its donking ability. T1 Riolu against lone Castform, GG :nonono:

Almost all wins it gets from the tournaments are like T1-T4. I know that KingGengar got to Top16 almost without any donks but still Mario can't win at all without T1-T3 KO if opponent gets proper set-up.

But IMO this won't be in top4 at worlds in any age group. But that's not bashing this deck, that's just my opinion.

Dragoncius, you'r right, but only one thing to do.
Lucario do something also midgame, 50+20 to bench isn't that bad.

But I don't undestand people that doesn't ever tested it and think that this deck is so bad.
If they'll test Mario, they'll see how good this is

Esa: I also hate T1 donk. But face the truth, even Infernape sometimes do T1, and lots of decks win T2. Why no one hates Banette, that is also based on speed? It do T2 and not T1, but does it matter if the opponent has 2 basic instead of one?

Yeah, maybe it won't win..this year.Because Banette is an autoloss.
In our European metagame, with HP-DP1, what will win vs it?

Well, we have an HP-on trainer list that is about 10 posts above you, and will soon be put on the front page after some playtesting.

(I will be testing the HP-on version @ league tonight, so I'll have some feedback)

Already I like Steven's Advice, much more so than Holon Adventurer, and I might change Rowan for Copycat(or go 1-1)

I think that trainer list is really scattered and disorganized. You have 1 scott and
1 mentor
1 team galactic's bet
1 crystal shard (or, 2 ideally, if you can make space)
1 warp point, or switch
1 night maintenance

You have 4 supporters in singularity, and randomly 1 switch and 1 shard. 2 battle frontier? As if they're not going to windstorm the cessation AND the gym? I don't see the purpose in 2 random gyms. Why not just add a fourth cessation? Unlike 4 cessation, 3 tools and 2 gyms is still trumped by 3 windstorm.

I hate the draw in this deck, too. 2 prof rowan
2 steven's
1 team galactic's bet
1 scott

That's 2 pure draw, 2 bad draw (prof rowan? come on...), one possible draw (galactic's bet?) and scott can sort of get a few draw.

The trainers are so scattered and seem arbitrary.
"why not a switch!"
"oh, i like that galactic's bet, throw it in!"
"gyms can be fun... put two in."

yeah, I saw it now lol I must have missed it before...

also, can TV reporter still be used HP-on? or copycat? cause I think they're quite good (sry if its a n00b question but I've been out of the tcg for 5 months now o_O)

and could budew be a possible option for the deck? you know... search out a rare candy to evolve a Machamp... lol

thanks

Well,

Here's my Hp-on list.

2 Great Ball
1 Mentor
1 Scott
3 Steven's Advice
3 Rowan/Copycat
4 Celio
3 Rare Candy
3 Cessation
2 BF
4 Plus Power
2 Crystal Shard

Ryan- I agree with your comments, but we don't play both the Stadium and CC at the same time. CC is for active Lucario's, yes, but if you have one of those, than you don't really need a BF in play.

Plus, when we attack with PK Machamp, we are usually not playing a CC on him, or Lucario Lv X.
So, a 3/2 split is fine.

Some thoughts on my own list-
+1 Night Maintenance
-1 Rowan/Copycat
-1 Crystal Shard
+1 Mentor
-1 Celio
+1 Scott(maybe)

Alval
Yes, TV Reporter and Copycat CAN be used in HP-on, as they were reprinted in DF (Dragon Frontiers)

Budew would slow the deck down, and the entire point of the deck is to get a bunch of fast damage/KOes.
