Lv X Search (AGAIN)

I know Lv X's don't count as evolved or basic Pokemon, but what if the card says to just search your deck for a Pokemon? It doesn't say basic or evolved or both? It is still a Pokemon right?

Correct, if a card says search for a Pokemon, then it allows you to get a LvX. If an older card, pre-DP says search for a "Basic Pokemon or evolution card" then it also allows you to get a LvX.
