    Machamp PK
    Holon Energy FF

If Machamp were to attack a Pokemon who had a :fighting: weakness and who met all the requirements of Holon Energy FF (e.g. A Blissey with an FF and a Fire attached), would Machamp's Brick Break attack still apply weakness? In my opinion, I would say no, as FF is not directly modifying the damage done by Machamp's attacks; it's modifying an excluded effect on Bliseywhich, in turn, modifies damage done to Blissey. Right?

    I also have another question.

    Holon Energy GL

What combination of Lightning Energy and Holon Energy GL would I have to have attached to my Pokemon in order to reduce ex-originating damage done to that Pokemon by 40? Is 1 Lightning and 4 GL correct?

    Thanks in advance.

Holon FF is an effect on the defending Pokemon, ignored by Brick Smash.
Holon GL reduces +10 for each one attached, so your forumula is the correct minimum for 40- damage.
