Magmortar/Typhlosion.. HELP

I think you should take out Arcanine. I've playtested and he clogs up the deck. And add in Delcatty
because he discards energy and lets you draw three cards. then you can reattach the energy with Typhlosion. Put in Delcatty EX to do massive damage Late game and upstream the energy back into your deck. Also add pachirisu (GE) to search for basics.

-2 Growlithe
-2 Arcanine
-2 Stone's
-2 Copycat
-1 Steven's

+2 Skitty
+2 Delcatty
+1 Delcatty EX
+4 Pachirisu
 
that's so expensive though....

adds like another 30 dollars to the deck, kind of hard to afford as a poor college kid...

This deck looks a lot like my deck and it does well except against my husband's Blissey. I just cannot get set up fast enough against it. So I put in a Sableye CG as a tech which helps stall and gives me a chance at setting up. So as for your questions of Magmortar vs. Blissey - well, of course, it is a personal choice but I'd probably pick the Blissey if I could do it again.
 
Ive decided my limit on a deck is about 120$.(no more preferably)

I'd like to add delcatty becuz i know it would help the deck a good amount... but again its out of my limit.

any budget fixes/ideas for this would be great??? any one??

oh and heather what kind of blissey does your husband run?
 
You should play

Typhlosion MT
Magmortar SW
Magmortar Lv.X
Delcatty
Along with all there necessaries
and make sure you play
Cyndaquil DF along with Corsola MT so you can search for Cyndaquil, Skitty and Magmar

Should I just not play then... I really have the feeling I won't be able to play this game... due to price. *cry*

I mean I'm putting myself through college. I can't spend 100$s on a deck for pokemon.

I think I am just going to give up. oh well...

are there no cheap decks in this game that are good....?
 
stop...this is maddness!!!just play w/ the deck, u will be able to play it go buy the stuff play a little while..then amp the deck up along the way!!if u find some people that u can trade w/ do it get the stuff thats not working out for the stuff that will...just do it..ull see its not as hard as ur making it out 2 be..k :)
 
no... this is SPARTA!!!!!!! but no anyway... a lot of people say this rolls over and dies to empolean which I dont think it will, because of the inclusion of typhlosion, I tested with delcatty, and I will add them once i get them... but anyway what does it look like so far....

I am up to a coin flip with this and blissey!!!! BLAH
 
either one i think this will fair fine plus u said u play w/ ur friends ergo...if u do go to a tourny u could trade there or like i said just try it...

bancario is a fun deck to play and not too expansive. cario x is in a tin and riolu and cario is in the pop sets so they are easy. then if you use the fishing engine your all set.
 
Im assuming Banette, lucario??? Think banette/blissey would be possible???

I think I am going to ditch this deck in favor of the blissey deck or something, I just realized 2 of my friends built emp decks.....so... I guess Ill let this thread go bye bye.
