I might actually attempt to make it to a Prerelease this time. I think the last time I went to a Prerelease it was for Holon Phantoms....:lol: Since my Dad is helping coach my little brothers football games which are every Saturday, its going to be a stretch like Regionals. But again, I'm still going to try.
 
School's out for me on the 6th, so I'll try to be there @Midlo.

It'll be so good to get back in the loop.

I'd love to, but unfortunatly the cost might be too high. (and with Skybus going under, the cost just skyrocketed...)

We'll see.
 
Shadow Card, I've had players call and ask about the Fairfax flights. Are they pretty fulll? Half full? or will everyone just walk up and hope for the best??

Supplies are in and the sleeves look great!
 
Flight 1 is about 1/3 full, 2nd flight is nowhere near that.

First (and hopefully only) on the slops list: PUI :nonono:

You think there may be enough booster packs for a booster draft at Fairfax? Fairfax hasn't seen a booster draft in a long time. Reply to this quickly so I know if I can tell the leaguers and include it in my e-mail. I'll let you post it in the pokegym thread.
 
It really all depends on main event attendance. (Remember, I'm not a store owner so I have to be sure that I have product to last for all three prerelease locations.... With that being said, I've ordered a LOT of MD packs this time since Fairfax always blows my projections out of the water. :thumb:

So, while I can't promise a draft, I can sure keep one in mind if we have enough product. (We do also have 16 theme decks ready to go for the TDC since that filled up last time!!)
 
My hopes depend on the prerelease cards I get.

It will take place in Fairfax beginning Flight 1 and then carried over to flight 2 in the afternoon (while supplies last, natch :biggrin:) When you call Hobbyworks, you do NOT need to specify the TDC, but let me know when you check in with me at the event. Again, I have decks for the first 16 interested players.

Wait, I thought you were doing two flights of TDC too. On the preregistration paper, the TDC is listed in a seperate event and also has 2 flights. :confused:

Open to suggestions on this--should I limit each set to 8 max Theme Decks Challengers, or should I use all of the decks as soon as they are requested (might mean no or a small TDC for flight 2)

IMHO the latter would work better. Also, if there is a booster draft, would it be after flight 2 ended, or when registration for flight 2 ended?
