I'm not telling you to change it, but just something for you to consider.

Here in Adelaide we have had a few people play something similar. It uses Aromatisse. Still with the Yveltal EX and uses a blend of fairy, dark and rainbow. THe benefit to using Aromatisse is that you are more likely to get it up by turn two without interruption from toad.

I think I prefer two Victini over a Vctini and a Trick Coin as you can only use one or the other and the Victini is less prone to removal.

Hydreigon also means that you can recycle the energy after being knocked out, something that and Aromatisse line can't do.

I do like the list though, it seems like it would be fun.

Cheers,
Mithos

Thanks for the help!

I think Aromatisse > Hydreigon too, but I have a lot of fun using Hydreigon. With rainbow energy, he also manages to defeat pyroar.

Victini VS Trick Coin is a good question. Victini low hp makes him easy to OHKO with lysandre, and VS Seeker makes lysandre even more easy to use. On the other side, Startling Megaphone is in every deck out there. Victini also consumes space on the bench, something I need to be careful as many Pokemon in this deck are just there to get on the bench.

I was thinking on putting a Seismitoad EX in the deck, but I don't know what I should take out :/

Sorry for my bad english, and thanks for the help again!

I do agree with you about Victini's fragility along with Lysandre. I don't think that you're attacking with Malamar overly much, so targetting it on the bench with Lysandre is probably a waste of their supporter for turn, nor does it stop you completely. I would argue that the Aromatisse would be the first target.

You did however give me my favourite rationalisation for playing Hydreigon (because it's fun). I have made choices in decks that other people have disagreed with all in the name of fun! It is an important factor, if you can't have fun when playing then why bother? On top of that it helps with a match up which is always good.

Toad is good, and there are a few good colourless attackers in the format. If you really wanted to you could go down the M-Kangaskhan route. It gives you a solid colourless attacker, helps with the pyroar match-up and all you would need to do is stick in a baby Xerneas to offset safeguard. You could drop the total dark count and increase the basic fairy energy count as well as swapping stadiums to a fairy garden, meaning Darkrai wouldn't be needed for free retreat any more. his is assuming you go down the Aromatisse route).

Going back to the original list, I feel like the deck would be better served with a Computer Search than an Master Ball. While I appreciate that a free search for any pokemon is good, I prefer the search for any card in my deck (particularly for those times when I get a hydreigon but no candy.).

Hope the bouncing ideas off a wall is helping a little. Ultimately, I hope whatever deck list you go with is the one you feel the most confident with while still being able to have fun.

Cheers,
Mithos
