Mewtwo Major Explosion

    Well then! After trading with a bunch of you, (Thanks a ton by the way) to actually get some Mewtwo EX (I can't get them from packs if I spent my life opening packs! So now I have 3 and I decided to make a deck! The thing was as powerful as it is I thought it could use some support. With the fact of it being it spongable and all i decided to make use of all the energy attached! So that was where Exegguttor comes in!

    So how about this!

    Mewtwo's Major Explosion! Version 1.0

    3 Mewtwo EX
    4 Exeggcute (Aquapolis 2 Grass & 2 Psychic)
    3 Exeggutor (Aquapolis Grass)
    2 Cleffa (Genesis)
    1 Pichu (Genesis)
    1 Tyrogue (Discovery)

    Trainers:
    1 Fanclub
    4 Elm
    3 Copycat
    2 Scoop UP
    3 Double Gust
    4 Juggler
    3 Trader
    1 Town Volunteers
    3 Focus Band
    3 Gold Berry

    Energy:
    11 Psychic
    4 Grass
    3 Full Heal

    You get the idea! Sponge up the energy, Psyburn away while preparing another Mewtwo or Exeggutor. Then once it gets killed or Double Gusted or whatever then you send out Exeggutor and mass murder the opponent! The grass energy is there for Call Shot in case it is needed for baby burning. And it is still spongable with Mewtwo. So what do ya all think!

    aww man, I love any deck with Psychic Pokemon. It seems solid enough but just remember that you have two Pokemon working against each other in the energy department. On one side, you have Mewtwo getting the energies from your discard while you have Exeggutor needing the energies from your hand. Try this:

    -3 Full Heal NRG
    +3 Boost Energy

    If you're going to sponge energy from discard, then at most, you will have 5 energies on an Exeggutor. That may seem like a lot, but just remember that 5 coinflips averages to only 2 or 3 heads (not too much damage considering the number of energies). That's all I can see for now.     I can't see the point of the boost energy! Is it for Super Explosion? If so it won't work. It may count as three energies, but only one energy card which is what Super Explosion needs! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I am pretty sure! Besides I only need one Energy on Exeggutor, I just take them off them Mewtwo. Retreat Exeggutor then Absorbs them up! Thanks for the tip though!

    Yes, the Grass Exeggutor counts energy cards. It is the Psychic one that counts energy, and all of that has to be attached to it anyway.

    I'd suggest this:
    -3 Full Heal Energy
    -1 Copycat
    +1 Psychic Energy or Grass Energy
    +3 Warp Energy (to make it even easier to save Mewtwo's energy)

    Of course, if you didn't mind going into full Unlimited, you cold use Jungle Exeggutor -- that one counts Energy. Of course, you'd have to change your Trainer structure, but c'est la vie.
