Hello everyone, it looks like I'll be able to attend, but I need to plan things like airplane flights down there. I'll need to be leaving sunday night, so the information I need is what time does top cut generally end? I don't have much experience with big tournaments like this and I would hate to have to drop if I'm doing really well to fly home. Thanks for the help!
I love this idea Vince, but I don't feel there is enough time left before Winter Regionals to get the information out and do it right. I would be happy to accept the challenge for the State Championships and perhaps a lot of other states could be encouraged to participate. We could see who gets the most food donated per player participating, which would put all states on a level playing field. What do you think? Here is the challenge.
We are leaving the holiday season, where we still have issues in this country where the winters are cold, and people are still hungry.
We enjoy taking time out of our lives to enjoy this card game with family and friends, and I think this would be a GREAT opportunity to give a little bit back to the community.
Everyone does food drives around Christmas, and Thanksgiving, but people are needy and hungry year round. I would like to think that we, as a community can help with this.
Therefore, the principal vendor to this Regional - Yeti Gaming, is setting up a food drive where everyone who donates will be guaranteed something for their donation. There will be special door prizes randomly given, which will include a 2012 Worlds Double Deck Box, Japanese Deck Boxes, Packs, Pokemon Figures, and all sorts of good stuff.
All food and donations will be sent to one or more local food banks in the St. Louis and St. Charles Community.
I would love to see a great turnout for this appeal.
I challenge my friends from the great NorthWest, and all other winter regionals to encourage their vendors to collect more than the St. Louis area folks. I'll think of a clever wager to put on the line later. I'm not risking my hair on this one!!!
Vince
Are there going to be people who will buy Bulk Commons and Uncommons?
"There will be vendors on the site to buy cards, sell cards and supplies, including sleeves and dice, and single cards."
according to the 1st post yes there is now my question is... is it Yeti Gaming I need to figure that out like Condition wise\
