More League Members than League Supplies

There was a new league started here, and the supplies we are going to receive will be enough for ten players. however, more than 10 players arrived, does anyone know a way we can get more league supplies?

So the main goal is to get everyone in the league a 'My Pokemon' account so that next season the overall number of products sent will be increased.

Not just a POP ID, but a 'My Pokemon' account.

I'll put that on my 'to-do' list.

You can also take the bull by the horns and register them yourself and scan and email all the parental permission forms for minors. About 70% of the members of my League had the initiative to verify their account with the email that was sent to their account. I don't have any suggestions for the ones who can't even click on the "click to verify and activate" link in the email, though :nonono::lol:

If you take that route, make sure your members know you are doing that FOR them, that you have their permission, and that you know what user name they want.

My Husband and I are having the same problem with our league supplies. We started our league a couple of weeks before the start of Rival. We requested additional materials for both Rival and Cyrus and received them no problem. This time around we only received enough supplies for 10 members...we have 33...most of which are Juniors. We requested additional materials as soon as we realized we didn't have enough and we have not had a response so far. I'm so concerned.

We understand about the My Pokemon accounts, so we have been constantly reminding everyone to register at the website. We even helped some fax their forms. (Thinking it was enough to get our members started with their accounts, when we reported the first season we mailed in the parental consent that is part of the POP ID sheet...initially we thought that's what we were supposed to do.)

In the meantime, the kids are getting anxious...I only wish I would, at least, have enough scorecards for each kid while we wait. It's funny, but the kids are always very enthusiastic and concerned about checking their progress on the scorecard.

What can we do?:frown:

PM me your league location, unless Biggie gets to you first, and I will see if I can help you. Have you gotten all the correct parental permission forms filled out and submitted yet? Did the parents make a My Pokemon account for themselves (make the process a lot easier)?

You can also email customer service about the supplies and they will let you know if your additional supplies have been approved or not. You should also try the Professor Forums at go-pokemon about the issues you are having with getting your Junior's accounts set up.

We had league today. The parents of the kids that showed up complained that they went to the website but were not able to register. They just said "I went on the main website like you told me and I couldn't register." I'm not sure of what kind of problem they're having, so I will definitely e-mail for help with the accounts and about the supplies. What puzzled me was that the parents that play had no difficulty making their own My Pokemon accounts, but like the other parents they had trouble when making their kids accounts. A little discouraging, but I'm still hoping for a simple solution.

Thanks for offering to help. We appreciate it.

R_B,

For the parents that are having problems, are they trying to register players under 13?

Like on the PokeGym, TPCi / POP has paperwork that parents need to submit before the kids can be registered with a My Pokemon account.

The same paperwork is on the POP ID forms, but it can be printed and faxed in.

After that paperwork is received, the parent receives an email giving them the UserName and Password for the Childs account. Again, this is the same procedure whether they register online or in person at League or an Event.

The POP ID entry was slowed down after switching to the new policy regarding the My Pokemon / 'Real' Players issue for League supplies.

There is more discussion on the TPCi League Leader forums and some insite to a possible easier procedure.

Hope that gives some help.

EL

Log in to your My Pokemon account. Click on Manage Pop ID's; it's under TO options on my page. Fill out the form and then your parent's will no longer have issues with the POP ID's you issue to them. If you don't have that option, I'll be happy to do it for you. Just PM me a list of the Pop ID's with corresponding names like this:

POP ID Birth Date First Name Last Name
POP ID Birth Date First Name Last Name
POP ID Birth Date First Name Last Name
POP ID Birth Date First Name Last Name
...

Also, because of Child Privacy issues, it takes sending in the proper paperwork to PCI and waiting for them to enter it. I know they had a backlog on it for a while. The parent can't just create the account online for the child.

After that paperwork is received, the parent receives an email giving them the UserName and Password for the Childs account.

After they receive their child's user name and password, they can change the user name/password to whatever they like.

This will no longer be an issue in about a week as the sign up process is being updated. :thumb:

Waynegg and EeveeLover - Thank you so much for trying to help.

I definitely have gone through the POP ID management process that waynegg described above. That's one of the reasons why I was surprised they were having so many problems.

EL -Yes, the majority of the members of our league are Juniors. As I mentioned on my original post, I had mailed in the parental consent that is part of the POP ID sheet for the initial group of kids that joined our league. What you said about the change may explain part of the problem. It seems we started our league in the middle of this transition.

Still, all I wish for is to have enough scorecards for all the kids. :frown:
