So after more playtesting here is what I am going with at this time, I am still working on supprter line. This line of T/S/S is a bit different then my last list, plus I added a new tech pokemon, I will explain all changes I made and why.
Pokemon: 11 cards
3 Thundurus EX
3 Deoxys EX
2 Kyurem
2 Lugia EX
1 Absol
T/S/S: 35 cards
3 Skyla
2 Colress
4 Colress Machine
3 Professor Juniper
3 Team Plasma Ball
1 Ultra Ball
4 Hypnotoxic Laser
2 Virbank City Gym
2 N
1 Scramble Switch
3 Switch
1 Max Potion
4 Pokemon Catcher
2 Float Stone
Energy: 14 cards
4 Plasma Energy
4 Prism Energy
4 Blend Energy WLFM
2 Double Colorless Energy
So the Pokemon change was adding an Absol, he is a great tech in this deck and not just Darkrai. I am already running Prism energy and Absol under the right circumstance can hit for 180.
Mind Jack - Opponent full bench 120, 3x Deoxys on bench 150, Laser/Virbank = 180
Not something that will happen alot but I pulled it off in a game and KO'd a Black Kyurem EX for the win.
But Absol makes sense, can be searched by Plasma ball, gets boost from deoxys, can be bech loaded by thundurus, and only gives up one prize. And his mind jack attack is nice because most decks now require a bench, plus he is amazing against PlasmaKlang as another attacker besides Kyurem. I know he might not be as great as Snorlax with a loaded bench, but 5 enery for an attack is killer especially in a tight game. Even with Scramble switch you have to get what you can built up, and against BKEX/Blastoise losing 5 energy at once can hurt. Because if you KO one, they can load another in one turn and smoke you, I would rather lose 2 energy then 5.
T/S/S Changes
I added Float stone, for obvious reasons. I dropped my Skyla count to 3 and added another Juniper. I found myself using skyla alot to get a juniper if i didnt need a specific item right then. Another change was my ball ratio. I decided to go 3 plasma / 1 Ultra. Mainly because Ultra ball is great early game and you can get it with Skyla if you really need to, but the cost to pay late game is harsh. I ran into issues with that, I had scramble switch in my hand and i drew ultra ball...if it was a plasma ball i could have pulled out another Poke and switched. So I think early game its awesome for Thundurus but late game IMO it hurts more then helps. I also tried a 3 plasma / 2 Ultra spread but that hurt to, I think 5 balls is to many for the deck.
The only other change is I upped my N count to 2. Thoughts?
