Some of the photos from the MW Regionals in Rockford IL are up in the Gallery now. It was the first time I recall posting pictures in that Gallery program, so I apologize if they're not with descriptions of the individual pics... The gallery program I'm familiar with lets me add descriptions later, but I don't see that feature in this one. Also the later ones I posted, some of the Art Contest Submissions, mostly appear on the first 2 pages. Had I realized they would come up first, and known I couldn't move them, I would probably have put them in a separate folder. But oh well, first timer, forgive me  Lots of pics to look through, 5 pages I think. I have more too, these were just some of the ones in Devin's camera.

It was quite the day alrighty! 170 players - 77 Masters, 47 Seniors and 46 Juniors in all. Our youngest was 5 and our eldest was 63. We had 2 huge adjoining rooms, the right side with 4 long tables, each seating 40, (running north and south), where we had the Art Area, League area, New Player area, Gameboy area, and misc seating for between rounds. There were also booths all along the right side of the building for the Gathering Ground and Tomorrow Is Yesterday. Off of that room was a smaller 'Gameroom' where the kids could do the Poke-Cake Walk, play PokeBall Dodgeball, and basically burn off a little energy. :thumb:

The entire left half of the ballroom was set up with the Judges tables along the back South wall, and 4 long tables (of 48 players each) in an east/west direction, to differentiate the 'tournamant side' from the 'fun side' of the huge room. There were also chairs set up all around the perimeter of the big room for parents etc. The age group banners were hung high above their long tables.

As I said, there are a lot of pics to look through so far, and I've got more to add. And again, I apologize if I didn't get descriptions under them so you know what's what. Lots of creative art entries from young and old players. Again, I probably should have put them in a separate gallery so those of you just interested in the event could find those pics easier. Next time I'll know better.

It was a really fun day with a great turnout and a lot of fantastic players! We applaud all the newcomers for checking out what Pokemon is all about, we appreciate all the old timers for keeping the game alive and kicking! We were delighted to see Pete DeShaw make the journey to join us, and I thank all of our great Judges and Staff for making it the great day that it was! I think we all had a fun time at this event!
Here's a link! Have fun!

Also, if you don't want quite so many to look through, I have a bunch of them with descriptions at our TIYPokemon website in the Regionals section, so you can check them out there too.
