At the very least you need Gust Of Wind, but you do have plenty of space since you are running a great deal of energy. So trim the energy back to between 12 and 16max

base Chansey is commonly used with metal energies for the evil metal Chansey. That brings up the question as to which set of rules you intend to play under. metal chansey is no more under Nintendo rules *sob*

I don't think that you need 4 SER and 4 ER. You can always use CPU search to get them if required.

If you have a bad starting hand then you are reliant on Prof Oak to fix it for you. Some additional draw/hand cycling would be usefull. Prof elm /Cleffa/CopyCat spring to mind.

From memory a lot of games in unlimited don't last more than a few turns. Especially if your opponent can throw a few plus powers at you for that early kill. Ah there's another card worth playing Plus Power.

Gold Berry might be expected to help Chansey but I doubt if it will do much for either Mewtwo or Electabuzz. focus Band could be a better choice.

So that gives a deck of oh about 70cards! LOL Its up to you to decide what to sacrifice to get some of the other cards into you deck.

Alternatively you could just go and search the web for a Sneasel/Slowking deck. You are bound to meet several of those in unlimited play. Very difficult to beat with a deck that is heavily reliant on trainers as many of the BBP decks were.

NoPoke said everything I would have said, and better than I would have said it. Since Wizards rules are no more, Metal Chansey's gone, too -- before I ever got a chance to try it!!! This deck's not so bad in itself, it's just the card ratios and Trainer engine that need work.

I agree with dkates, and I forgot to say so (my bad). It is a reasonable deck and is certainly capable of winning. So try playing it and then try playing with the energies reduced by 4 and with four gust of wind instead. You are then one step down the road to being your own deck mechanic.

Yeah, NoPoke, I was thinking about doing that exact thing but for some reason I never did. I think that I might try out using only 16 energy and put in some Gusts. (-:

Good idea. You may also want to find some room for Switches. That would require dropping the fourths of some of your Trainers.

Well, there are 4 Scoop. That's close enough. ^_^

On a side note for dkates...plan on working on your CAC contest anytime soon?

I will do something on it tomorrow, I hope. If not, then on Sunday.

You have too much draw draw power and try using Syther instead of Chanssey

He only has 4 Oak, which probably all aren't played in a single game anyway. That's nothing. I run 3 Bill/3 Oak currently. Also, Chansey is the cleaner of all cleaners, while Scyther is basically just utility.

I still plan to play 4 Scyther in my upcoming 'Plume deck though, which should be on the site by next week at the latest. The only problem is, I only have 3 DCE...oh well.

HYPER EVEE, there is no way in hell that I am ever using less than four Chansey in this deck. Thanks for your suggestion though. =P

Chansey's fun, used right. Of course, on those rare occasions when it backfires...

Yea, Chansey is great..especially if he can survive for 2 Gold Berries. Then it's just sweet.

Try To use Mr. fuji (LC) I habe used it in a lot of tournaments and it works better than scoop up.

After the new rule change and especially after the new Sandstorm collection. This deck would be a challenge to win with these days. However here my advice.

Get more basics with speed. Electrabuzz alone just doesn't cut it anymore these days. I use electrabuzz best as a back up in the late metagame when I really need it. Chancey lost most of its value after EX: Ruby and Sapphire came out. Mainly because the Metal Combo isn't allowed anymore. Chancey can be used as a staller when powering up others however it doesn't make all that great of an attacker anymore. Overall cut back about one of each and stuff in Machop (Base Set), Sneasel (Neo Genesis), or Mewtwo EX (EX: Ruby and Sapphire) to give basics a boost. Even then get ready to fear evolution Pokemon even more because the new EX pokemon from Sandstorm has up to 200 HP! Along with killer attacks that could take down any one of these in a turn or two.

Reliance on energy removal is no longer a good strategy even in Unlimited. Mainly because of Eco Gym and players with Big HP pokemon will just hunker down and whether the storm while trying to spread their energy attachments. So I recommend throwing out the SERs but keep the ERs to remove Special Energy Cards (a common foundation in today's game). I recommend using Gust of Wind because the best way to kill off a pokemon is to strike it early so that I can't strike at all.

Energy just alter it to my advice above.

Overall, I EXTREMELY recommend that you work to collect newer cards so that you can make badder decks. Even in unlimited, you have to rely on cards from all collections avalable to make the best deck. Because, EX:Ruby and Sapphire and EX:Sandstorm totally rewrote the book on the game, then decks must change to win. Good luck with your game and have fun in the future.

If you intend to go up against Sneasel Slowking and WIN then make room for three Pichus. You have to play Focus band with the Pichus.
