Right in the soft spot.

Never claimed to be perfect.

Just having fun doing a YEAR'S worth of modding in one day on one set of threads.

Just one side point - had I been there, I would have called you out on one play. Kevin was a saint .... a card laid is a card played. I would have made you keep the card you had there, and deal with the consequences. However, life goes on. There were other things that happened which weren't really right, but I had no input on, so couldn't change. I'm glad you thought the day turned out well - especially since it will probably be my last Nationals as a judge. It's nice to go out on a good day.

I'm not disagreeing with you. As soon as I played the Trapinch, I knew I had screwed up. That's why I politely asked if I could take it back. I was fully aware the decision was 100% up to him. And as I said, bless his heart for letting me. Were it the other way, I would be lying if I said I would have done the same thing.

There's no harm in asking, since it is up to the opponent. I sit here very much knowing that, to be frank, luck and a very kind opponent happened to line up for me at the same time.
