Below is the information for the Nevada Ruby and Sapphire Challenge coming to the Galleria Mall in Henderson, Nevada THIS Saturday 16, August 2003.

The event will be in the Mervyn's Court on the Southwest side of the mall by Dillard's. Enter by going into the MALL Entrance (Not the Dillard's Entrance) on the Southwest side.
I will be there helping with judging of the event, and I will have both my GBA's if a participant has forgotten theirs.
Cost to Enter
There is no entrance fee. You will need to purchase six (6) Pokemon-e TCG:EX Ruby and Sapphire boosters at a discounted price of $15 upon admission. TCG cards must be purchased from the Tournament Organizer the day of the event.
What Should A Player Bring to the Event?
$15 to purchase the six Pokemon-e TCG:EX Ruby and Sapphire boosters
A Game Boy Advance
Either a Pokemon Ruby or Pokemon Sapphire game cartridge
Registration and Start Time
Registration will be 10am the Tournament will begin at 11am

The tournament will be 6 rounds
• 2 rounds of the Ruby & Sapphire TCG – Sealed deck
• 4 rounds of the Ruby & Sapphire Game Boy Advance (GBA)– Battle Tower format
The Ruby & Sapphire Challenge tournament will feature 3 separate age categories for Trainers - 15+, 11-14, and 10 & under.
End of Tournament & Prizes
At the end of the tournament, players receive 4 points for each TCG win, 1 point for each TCG draw, 2 points for each GBA win. No points are awarded for losses in the TCG or GBA portions.
Prizes are awarded to the top players in each age category, reflecting the age categories of 15+, 11-14, and 10 & under:
· 1st Place:
o Gift Certificates (Pokemon.com e-commerce) - $200.00
o Trophy/Award - 1st place (gold)
o Participant Rewards
2nd Place:
o Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire GBA game (one cartridge given)
o Trophy/Award - 2nd place (silver)
o Pokémon-e TCG: EX Ruby & Sapphire - 1 Display Boosters
o Participant Rewards
3rd Place:
o Trophy/Award - 3rd place (bronze)
o Pokémon-e TCG: EX Ruby & Sapphire - 16 boosters
o Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire GBA game (one cartridge given)
