Finally, a league in the city!

Our Location is Galaxy Comic Zone at 3804 N Western Ave.

Meetings are on Tuesdays from 5-7 PM. All ages for TCG and VG are welcome!

We had our first league meeting last night! We signed up 3 new masters and one new junior. Base Set Charizard made an appearance--one of the guys brought his 12+ year-old deck and actually played it against a brand new Furious Fists deck... it was an exciting matchup, especially with Clefable using Metronome to KO one of the big modern cards. The match was still going when we had to leave (tied 1-1). I can't wait for next week to find out who won!

Official sanctioning just got approved a few days ago! I'm now a tournament organizer and league owner. A few new juniors showed up tonight and one senior looking for some VGC competition. I'm hoping we'll get some more Chicago city locals out very soon to round out the league. BTW, my son and I attended the Ft. Wayne regionals last weekend--what a blast! We made several new friends and are looking forward to city's in January.
