New Redshark Player Seeking Program Tutor/Sparring Partners

Cyrus

Iron Chef - Master Emeritus
Hey,

After years of being an APPR-exclusive user, I've decided to add Redshark to my repertoire. I figure that in order to be the best player I can be, the best website owner I can be, and the best online tournament organizer I can be, it's time to make the step into a program I've - until now - avoided like the plague.

Making this its separate post because it's a request to find someone hyper-competent in the program to help me get as comfortable with it as I am with APPR. Of course I'd still need information like hamachi sn etc, as well as to give my own.

Care to tutor me in the way of the Shark? If so, please reply here, or PM.

Thanks to everyone who's responded so far...And very nice resource, R_A! I'm definitely gonna follow up on that.

Edit: watched part one, and it's all stuff I'm pretty familiar with...But I guess it's easier to stomach for some reason. I don't know why, but it is. Apprentice is still the superior program for at least one basic reason: it doesn't take 15-30 extra seconds to load. While I'm not sure which is better for actual games yet, Redshark is horrid for solitaire.

Gonna mess around with this more. Thanks for helping me coping with this, guys.

to my knowledge, the ONLY programs you can duel against are the TCG GameBoy game, and the computer games that they've put out over the years.

answer: no.

Wow, that will really help the community of players who want to use Redshark. Great video RA. :)

Now, if someone made one about networking with Hamachi, that would really help a lot of people as well imo.

Working on that one now. Thanks for checking it out.

I'm doing a "how to download and install Redshark & Hamachi & get connected.." type video ..
