New To The Pokemon TCG, Would Like Help With A Deck!

Hello, I have been collecting pokemon cards for 10 years now and I have quite the collection! But was looking for some advice on starting to play the TCG.

this is what I say to new players at my league if they want to run a competitive deck, as a starting point in deck creation start with 20 pokemon, 15 energy and 25 trainers (10 of which are supporters) from your list you only seem to have 12 trainers total.

I suggest getting the xerneas vs yveltal battle arena decks and/or the red genesect collection as the trainers in them will cover about 90% of the trainers in most competitive decks. after that its finding a couple pokemon you like that synergize well together to make a deck around.
