LOL Martina won over ALL those GG decks, good work girl.
And Andceo finally won after being second last year, good work too.

If I see the names it must have been a very strong field playing finals.

I MADE IT!!!!!

I cried like there's no tomorrow...it was 4 years i was waiting for it and at the end i did it!
The most exiting moment was when i had the pause between Semifinal and Final and i had to face the Gorebyss-Banette SD Cremascoli family played, which sent out of the top Kenta and Gatsu.

I didn't eat and went to test in a room for almost 2 hours...i was little more confident about that, so i knew that being little lucky would have give me the victory.
When i started i T1ed it with my Magmar 2nd attack for the first win, and then i had 2 good flips in the second match, and playing well brought me in a good field position and made me win!

I'm really happy i can finally meet all you guys in Orlando...and i hope Gatsu will gain his invite and come with me (unfortunately Kenta will have a VERY LOW ranking after the 3-3).

Thanks everybody for the support and....WORLDS 08, I'M COOOOOOOOMING!!

GG Andceo ! I just didn't trust your MagKiss, remember... I should have ! :p

You're a great player and I'm happy that you go to Orlando.

Gogogo FTW !

And GG Martina ! =) Hope you'll do great in Orlando.

Martina discarded my Lake Boundary with Gyarados attack (the only way for win) when i had 23 cards in hand... If she failed, i probably won. For the second match the time ended...

Sounds like a really good tournament, with a very high level of competitors. Awesome! Congrats to Andceo and Martina! Hope to see you guys in Orlando! =)

How many players did you have? I couldn't find the event on the tournament locator...

Also, what about the Juniors?

Martina did it!!!!
After 4 years she is again the Queen of Italy!!! Orlando again!!!!
She did play Togekiss/Gyarados, (Kiss's Dragon or Enraged kisses) a rogue deck never seen in Italy and (I think) in the rest of the World that won over 7 GG variants.
After 6 swiss rounds 7 decks on 8 was GG variants and she finished 5-1.
So, in top 8 only GG variants….
The idea is born 20 days ago after we tested a lot of decks that could be counter GG.
The choice has been highly risky but in the end it's been the right choice...

The victory is dedicated to:
Andceo who is the first player that trust in the deck.
Prof Donphan (me), Gatsu & Kenta for massive tests in a few days.
Lady Crobat (my wife) for psycologic support
Jimmy Ballard aka Banginbox which Martina is one of the fan and for the initial idea after seen “The Answer” and “Arithmetic”

Congrats to Andceo & Simone Z. … Now let’s go to shuffle the decks for Worlds!!!!

Martina - Salut from Zak and Andrew, and the rest of the 2004 Worlds Top Cut Juniors Class in our area who remember you!

I assume you will be wearing the bandana in Orlando once again!

See you there!

Vince
