Niles R/S Challenge on the 23rd, who is coming?

Confirmed - We Will be There, and Yes, brother Newman will be in the house! (Top 8 FAT, Top 8 Team Championship)

So just in our car we will beat the R/S Challenges almost that took place last week!

You know, I have no idea. Were playing this tournament by ear. It will probably we hand done but you know it will still work. In my opinion, most of the time though, in age modified tournament everyone is in one age group, and the prizes go to the top finishers of that age group. That is just my opinion of what might happen. No official work yet. You will probably have to wait for saturday to determine that.

Prize breakups will be by age group (meaning top 8 for each age group will get prizes- if there are less than 8 in a group then we'll divide the unplaced boosters evenly among the finishers)

To Ice n 'Cold: I really don't believe, I haven't ever anything about this legal way to obtain the original pokemon. I really don't think it's possible as of now. I don't want to be mean or something, believe because I would love to have the RBY/GSC pokemon in my game, so I may get a Charizard and Kingdra :D . If you do claim to have access to those pokemon, please prove me wrong, I would love to see how you got them in a legal way.

Also, to those people talking to about how much time they got on their games, I have exactly .....389:40 :eek: !!!!!! It may shock you, but it really doesn't for me. I am really busy during the day and so I just play most of the night, almost everyday. I am usually drained but I really love playing my game alot. If you would like proof then see me on sat. at the R/S challenge.

depends. is that for the R/S challenge or Prerelease tourney? I wont be able to come to the R/S challenge, but I will make it to the Prerelease.
 
Ok charizardmaster, Ill give ya some more info at the challenge. Im Adam, one of your judges for this event. Just come up to me at some point and I can explain.
 
nice, about 15(+/- a couple) ppl from this board will come, 2 from pojo(maybe more, but that is all I know), and a minimum of 5 others from around town, looks like we may have the largest turnout ^_^

ILC here, once again to lazy to login ;). Bullados may be coming, he asked me to train him a poke (well 2 but one of them I have 4 of O_O). Heh only 2 days left, besides the fact that I g2 go to sk00l tomorrow, I can't wait^_^
 
Well, the more the better. Were always glad to have as many people as possible. I may be bringing my little brother along for the trip, though he has no team for the GBA games, so I might have to train one tonight and tomorrow for him. Feel the wrath of the mighty Ice Cold's Pikachu!

Hey, I'm from Pojo's. I will also be attending this event, hopefully. I've trained all summer and got a great team. I was wondering, what do they mean if our game has been "Modified"? I did modify the game to get the Eon Ticket and several Luxury balls. I trained my Tourney pokemon normally. But, if I did modify it, will I be disqualified? Although, I did use several TM's that were traded from friends. If my game is modified, can't I just switch my 3 pokemon to my brother's Ruby Cart? Also, I was wondering in what age group are most of you guys in?
 
There will we a brief**(amount of time TBD tomorrow) break in the middle of the tournament. Since its starts in the afternoon, though, we ask that everyone please try and eat before you come to the tournament. If anything, stop and get a taco or a cheesburger or salad or something.

By "modified" we mean no game sharks, or anything of that nature has been used on your cartrige. The eon ticket is not an illegal modification. Any features that you unlock in the game via E-reader or other legitimate method are legal, and are not considered "modifying" your cartrige. If have have anything illegal in your game, whether it was infact gotten through a shark or even from a trade. It is still illegal. Bottom line, if your cartrige has anything on it that shouldnt be there, dont bring it to the tournament. We dont like assighning penalties, or in this case disqualifications, but we will do what we must to follow the rules. I hope everyone comming understands.
