Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

***North Texas: 2010~Autumn Battle Roads Schedule***

Bad choice of words, Nate. I don't know who you are, or what you look like, but you made a big mistake making ignorant, personal references towards me like that. My daughter reads these posts with me to see what's going on in the tournaments, so know who you're talking to first before you open your big mouth, because things just got ugly the next time I see you, and I will know what you look like by then......

Not really a good idea to go around threating people on a public board, big guy.

Just sayin'.

Nate and I just spoke, and there were no threats. Things "get ugly" during Pokemon matches all the time, especially between Team Wolfpack and Team Impact. I'm sure when Nate and I play each other again in a tourny it could "get ugly" (especially after I beat him LOL). Perhaps you need to read the thread again, and tell me exactly how "things will get ugly" is a threat. If Darkwater didn't take it as a threat, why would you?

Actually, I think Shane is the one who came up with it.... no leader and you automatically get put on it because you are old

Look out you youngins there's a new team in DFW.

TEAM GERIATRIC
LOL.....I assume that you are the leader of Team Geriatric, eh Professor? I'll join Team Geriatric then, there are plenty of us who could join up as well.

THE JINX IS OVER!!!! After placing second in several BR's and not making Top Cut even after going 4-1 (a loss to the eventual winner I might add...), I finally won my first Battle Roads in Crowley. Not bad for an old man who started playing seriously in April of this year.
Thanks to all the people who ran such a smooth tourney, and props to all the players who played today. Comic Craze in Garland was here to represent, and I am declaring myself an Honorary Member of Team Wolfpack. REPRESENT.......

Hmmm...an old man that just started playing back in April...sounds like Ron. If so, congrats man, that's awesome, glad to hear you won.

I was one misplay away from top cutting. Had the game in the bag and forgot to attach my energy, announced my attack....oops. Too bad, I have a really good Vilegar match up.

Hey Chrataxe. i was hoping I'd get to meet you in Crowley. I read your articles and posts all the time on Six Prizes. If we have met, I apologize for not knowing who you are, perhaps some details about our discussion will jar this old man's memory.

I'm the long haired hippy that was running steelix that originally met you back at states.

I only called you old because you were one of the few people there older than me, lol. And I just happened to remember your name from the standings and when you said you just started playing in april, I figured that was you. congrats on the win.

your daughter keeps whipping up on my son, I'm going to have to fix that!

O.K. I thought that was you, but I wanted to make sure. Yes, my daughter is tough to beat now. She tells me all the time what I'm doing wrong in my matches now...say what?? She has a small window to make her mark because she'll be in Seniors in a couple years, and that's a whole different beast. I hope you're able to visit our metroplex more often so we can play a match together sometime. Thanks for the props, and keep in touch my friend.:thumb:

are we supposed to start talking smack on the city's thread now?.... because all in all, team Double D's if i'm not mistaken has more victory medals under it's belt since the start of the new year. course only the members know who each other are. have fun figuring us out 0.o haha

well put DCP, team DD's calls FtW it's home, and have three medals with only four members in the squad. or five, don't remember about that guy. haha

1st was Ron w/ Vilegar
2nd Dale L. w/ BaGeL?
3rd and 4th was Demetre F. w/ speed champ and I apologize for not knowing the other guy or what he played. But i can tell you he's a really cool guy with a cool shirt. haha

His name was Shawn and he was playing Blaziken FB/Garchomp C/Typhlosion.

And for the record, he is a really cool guy, even if he did ruin my day!

Just got a text from my boss tonight informing me that I will be back up there in the near future for work. Not sure exactly where I'll be (working in the Barnett Shale, so it will be SOMEWHERE in the DFW area) and how long I'll be there and if I can make it out to a league while I'm there but I will definitely try to stop by your league if you'll let me know when and where ya'll meet. I'd like to try my luck at that BR winning deck of yours!

hey ron, i just wanted to let you know that i was your only loss during the rounds and i am part of team impact. So i had to back up my team and tell you that we are not only good at smack talking. but we shall meet again at cities and you will definitely run into one of us. congrats on the win.

Ron, our next encounter will be one for the ages. You all can quote me on this. I will beat Ron the next time I play him. Things will get ugly... Maybe 6-0 prize count ugly.

Yes, Nate made sure I knew you were part of Team Implants, and congrats on your win. I assume all you boys play LuxChomp? 'Cause that's the only deck that gives me trouble, and it's still 50/50 on that one. I made a foolish mistake against you that I won't make again Macon, but I thank you for your input after the match, and hope to see you all again at cities. TEAM GERIATRIC - FTW!!

Wow, arguing about POKEMON TEAMS.

Just when I thought it wasn't pathetic enough...
