Hello, and welcome to episode 2 of Nintendo Power Edit. Today, we look at a deck that now includes the new expansion from Nintendo, EX:Sandstorm.

4 Wailmer- R/S
2 Wailord ex- SS
3 Taillow
1 Swellow
3 Goldeen
1 Seaking
3 Makuhita
3 Onix
3 Solrock

4 Wally's Training
4 Potion
2 Oran Berry
2 Switch

16 Water Energy
8 Fighting energy

Already, we see a few problems:
1. Too many energies
2. not many trainers.
3. too many evo. lines

So what can we do with this deck? Well, the first thing we should is cut the number of evolution lines a little. For now, lets go with Taillow and Wailmer lines. The second thing we can do is take out the fighting types that are in this deck (including the energies). The thrid thing we should do is definately fix teh Trainers.

Pokemon Fixes:
-3 Goldeen
-1 Seaking
-3 Makuhita
-3 Onix
-1 Solrock
+1 Taillow
+2 Swellow
+1 Wailmer ex
+3 Zangoose

Now our Pokemon should be like this

4 Wailmer- R/S
3 Wailord ex- SS
4 Taillow
3 Swellow
3 Zangoose
2 Solrock (for card drawing)

(4 Spaces left over)

Trainers: Obviously, now that we know the format is Eon, lets change this entire trainer Engine...

-4 Wally's Training
-4 Potion
+2 Oran Berry
+2 Switch
+4 Elm's Training Method (using the 4 spaces that were left over)

Energies: So now we have another problem. Since this new verison is water type only, lets just make a few changes to the energies...

-8 Fighting Energy
+3 Copycat
+3 Lanette's Net Search
+2 Town Voluteers

SO now we made our changes to the Trainers and the energies. lets look at the final results

4 Wailmer- R/S
3 Wailord ex- SS
4 Taillow
3 Swellow
3 Zangoose
2 Solrock (for card drawing)

4 Elm's Training Method
3 Copycat
3 Lanette's Net Search
4 Switch
4 Oran Berry
2 Town Volunteers

16 Water Energy

Now that looks a lot better. If you want to make your own versions of this deck, reply to this post.

Looks good from my limited knowledge of E-on. Maybe you should play some Multi Energy though, in case you want to use Solrock as an attacker...

Using some boost energy would be nice too. Wailord EX probably can't do enough damage by the time it's fully built up, so a quick boost can give a surprise to your opponent.

well, both ideas are good ideas:

4 Wailmer- R/S
3 Wailord ex- SS
4 Taillow
3 Swellow
3 Zangoose
2 Solrock (for card drawing)

4 Elm's Training Method
3 Copycat
3 Lanette's Net Search
4 Switch
4 Oran Berry
2 Town Volunteers

8 Water Energy
4 Boost energy
4 Multi Energy
