NW Regional Championships: Salem OR, November 12-13, 2011 (TCG AND VG)

I don't recognize the name off hand and I didn't watch the T4 closely enough, but congrats to him. Apparently he used my Typhlosion list from my last UG article, so that's pretty cool.

Big ups to him, whoever he is! :D

His name is Ian Griffith. I fought him at Mulkiteo BR in one of my matches. It turned out he is one of those lucky guys that can make it to top 4 with the one of the most popular decks in the room.

Eww, such bad articles! Why don't you write about relavant things like basic yellow and samurott donphan (beats everything btw)?

When we run these big events on separate computers there is only one of them sanctioned initially. Then the day of the event we sanction the other two age groups. Those additional tournaments, which in this case included the Junior division, are not classed as Premier events until TCPi stamps them as such. I think that is why you are not initially seeing the Championship points showing up. The additional tournaments in Oregon have been stamped Premier events as of yesterday, so if the Championship points don't show up in a day or so let me know and I will follow up with TCPi. This is the first big event I've run through this process since we have been awarding Championship points, so there could possibly be a glitch in the system because of the way we do them.

Still no championship points showing up yet.
 
they didn't give me points for two of my matches and so now i'm 8th in oregon because it didn't count the two games where i played someone with a igher rating than me

Yes she got ranking points and it shows that she finished #27 but she did not get her 2 championship points

Well its important to her. At the beggining of the Pokemon year I promised her a night at Great Wolf Lodge if she earned 10 Championship points. So with the two she earned at Regionals she will be half way there.
