Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Official "How'd you do at States" thread

I'm not afraid to say that I did kinda bad.

(4-3)OK States W/Tyranitar. Lost to a friend W/drapion, a mirror, and a Machamp Prime(by weakness and a warp point).

(4-4)TX States W/jumpluff, One expert belt changed my entire day, and charzard too. My last three games I could not draw a Collector (and I play 4!). I was 4-1 until those last three games.

Week One: 6-0 Swiss. 7-1, Lost in the Semi-finals of Idaho States. (3rd place.)
Week Two: Couldn't attend an event due to prior engagements.

4-2 at new mexico dropping one to lucario/palkia after a really dumb misplay and one to mewperior and I didnt have a clue how to play the matchup (i do now).

4-4 at texas. Lost a very close game to a very high ranked player after a god draw after a judge (judged him into all four cards he needed to win), machamped donked once, and uxie donked once, and lost a really close one to a god start. He starts with a tomb and double absol g with the x and 2 turns in hand and lost zones about a fourth of my deck in two turns, thankfully no pokes but tons of energy. I only run 2 stadiums, one of which is lost world for lucario and that is the only stadium I could draw into all game so I couldnt get skuntank going and since I couldnt get a steelix out, I wasnt going to drop lost world. Anyway, came down to an herb flip in SD; heads I win...it wasnt heads.

Very disappointing, but I cant really complain. I was a fart away from sweeping both. My steelix deck is aimed at destroying sp and gyarados and does very well against gengar...i just couldnt find many t1 decks early enough

Week 1 Illinois
I played Luxchomp with Dialga and went 3-2 to place in 7th.
I lost to Machamp in round 1 (he later went on to win the tourney) and to another Luxchomp with Dialga in the final round who ended up placing in 3rd.

Really wanted to go to Wisconsin week 2 since I got 1st and 2nd in Cities, but i had to help with a Scouting food drive.

First States I've entered was Arizona and I went 2-7. One player kept stalling, other matches were my missplaying.

I wanted to go to Cali States, but my friend was too tired to drive :C

week one oregon masters state champion =D 10-2
week two top 16 wash state masters. 5-3 after my top cut loss =/

At my first states ever, 9th place with Machamp/Mesprit in seniors, going 3-2. I thought that was decent. I missed T8 by 1% >_<

First round I had a donking hand, but went first :/
