Oklahoma State Championship: How Many Are Coming ???

February 5th, MP Birch has 4 more players to add to the list. We have 51-players now that are planning to attend the "Oklahoma~State Championship". I will have to make a decision by Wednesday as to move this venue or not. So, to help MP Birch out, I need to know which players will be attending from Oklahoma and out of state.

Thanks.

MP Birch

I really hope to see more names get added to the list. Would be awesome to see a ton of people but I really don't feel like getting stuck on the floor to play a match because more people showed up.

If MP Birch still hasn't heard from a lot of Okies, then it looks like the venue may need to be changed just based off of the out-of-towners coming in & the Okies that will invaribly show up that haven't said anything.

Just checked with the wife - she's going to be out of town that weekend, so Cameron and I will be making the drive.

Cheers,
S.

February 6th, MP Birch has 7 more players to add to the list for the "Oklahoma~State Championship". MP Birch will call tomorrow to find another venue. If the Oklahoma players that normally show up for these events, come "Drake's Place" will be too small. Of the 58-players that are planning to attend, about 12% of these are from the Oklahoma City area. MP Birch would still like to get a good idea of who else will be attending.

Thank you to all of the players that took the time to reply.

MP Birch

Any thoughts about having enough players in Junior division? That division is very small in your area and I noticed there were only 8 at Cities.

There has not been a problem with Juniors up there lately. Seems to have been plenty. They even had more than the Seniors if I remember correctly for the last Citys and had a top 4. I think the Seniors only had a top 2 though could be wrong.

Looks definitely to be more than 80. Expect a change.
I don't think there will be any problem getting more than 8 in any age group at this tourney.

Thank you.

FYI, I think we might be the only ones from the Houston area. Other traveling families are playing elsewhere due to spring break (vacation).

See ya at States.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Does that depend on how many donuts you have that morning?

Nope. My donut days are over with. The 4th might be Team Cook Anthony. He's been itching to play lately.
