Master players will proceed to the registration table to pay their entry fee and sign up for the tournament. Each master player will get a wristband that must be worn during the first 2 rounds on Saturday at the event. They will then take their completed deck list and deck, (matching the order of the deck list), to a judge for verification. This is to get you registered into the tournament.

Every player will play at least 3 rounds of age-modified, swiss-style play. After the swiss rounds, finals will be single elimination. Players must bring their own 60 card Modified decks with deck list. Blank deck list will be provided at the tournament or you can go to www.pokegym.net/decklist for one.
Each round will be 50 minutes plus 3 turns in the swiss rounds. After the swiss rounds are completed, a maximum top cut of 8 in each age division will play best 2 out of 3 + 3 turns, with a 50 minute time limit.

    Lunch Break:
There will be an extended break between rounds 2 and 3. The start time of round 3 will be announced at the start of round 2.

    Side Events:
Starting after lunch we'll take sign up for the side events.

Win a Mat side event is an 8 player, double elimination, single game tournaments with a 30 minute + 3 turn time limit. This is in the same standard format as the main event. Each player will get 1 pack of Primal Clash upon paid entry. The winner of the tournament will win an exclusive Mega Gardevoir playmat given out only at State Championships this year. If a junior and/or senior player wants to enter this will try to hold the event for their age group only, but they can opt to play with the masters. Entry fee into this event is $5 cash or $5.25 by card. This event will start when 8 players have signed up and is limited to 8 separate tournaments.

League Challenge - This is a 30 minute + 3 turn modified swiss event using the standard card format. The Top 4 players in each age group will win the promo cards. There will be booster packs given as prizes as well. 1st place in each age group will also win an exclusive Mega Gardevoir playmat given out only at State Championships this year. Entry fee into this event is $5 cash or $5.25 by card and each player will get 1 pack of Primal Clash upon paid entry. There will be plenty of announcements of when this tournament will start but I don't expect it to start till at least 5pm.
More side events may be announced on that day.

    Format

Is the format "Standard" for swiss rounds and "Extended" for the top cut? Or is the event totally "Standard" format?
