This is my old deck from back when I still played. I've moved onto Magic after not playing Pokemon for about 2 years, but I would still play if I could find an opponent. The other 3 people who I used to play me stopped wanting to play me because they couldn't beat this.
But what I really want to know is how you think this deck would have lasted in a tournament back when Rocket came out? I never played in a tournament back then... I don't know why. I would have liked to. Probably becasue I couldn't drive. Anyway, here's my deck:

2 Abra (Rocket)
2 Kadabra (Base)
2 Psyduck (Rocket)
2 Dark Golduck (Rocket)
1 Gastly (Fossil)
3 Mr. Mime (Jungle)
2 Mewtwo (Base)
2 Mewtwo (Promo #14)
1 Mew

1 Defender
1 Plus Power
1 Bill
1 Super Energy Removal
2 Super Potion
3 Energy Retrieval
4 Potion
4 Pokemon Trader
4 Energy Removal

22 Psychic Energy

The great thing about Dark Golduck is it's basicly a variant on Kadabra. I guess for efficiancy I could swap the Golducks and Psyducks for Abras and Kadabras, but it was more fun for me to have blue in the deck. My brother hated those things. :D

This deck looks like it was fairly good back in its day, but it needs a lot of updates. I have a lot of ideas, so I'll post a decklist.

Pokemon (16):
3 Psyduck (Rocket)
2 Dark Golduck (Rocket)
2 Mewtwo EX (R&S) or Rocket's Mewtwo (Gym Challenge)
3 Mr. Mime (Jungle)
2 Tyrogue (Discovery)
2 Cleffa (Genesis)
2 Mew (Lily Pad Promo)

Energy (15):
15 Psychic Energy

Trainers (29):
2 Bill
2 Oracle
3 Computer Search
2 Item Finder
3 Energy Removal
2 Super Energy Removal
2 Gust of Wind
2 Switch
2 Magnifier
3 Berry
2 Focus Band
2 Gold Berry
2 Professor Oak

I know it's a very different deck, but it keeps most of your focuses. The only Trainer that may be difficult to understand is Magnifier -- since it ignores Resistances for one attack, Psychic Resistances will be less of a problem. This version should be a lot faster than the original. Note on strategy: Make sure you have a Berry on Mr. Mime as often as possible -- it'll make it nearly invincible, since Mr. Mime's Power makes it all but impossible to kill Mr. Mime without triggering Berry.
