Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

OMG Garchomp LV.X Translation, anyone?

I can see this getting into Flygon decks, or any stage 2 EX deck. Skip the basics and stage one, just discard it for Mentor early on and bring it back fully charged. Could be interesting.

Or it could just 'look' cool and actually not be worth it. Who knows

wait a minute, won't we get Garchomp LV.X before DP3 comes out since DP4 is released before DP3?

anyway, Garchomp is so cool (not the art, it makes him look weird). He makes me wanna play Stage 2's of fossils + Bronzong + TVR

Just put a bunch a stage 2 pokemon in the deck without any basic or stage 1s in the deck like this

1 Rhyperrior
1 Roserade
1 Flygon EX
1 Gardevoir EX D

Those are just examples of what you can do with a garchomp LV X deck

That could've been the case, but it turns out Garchomp Lv.X is NOT in DP4, so who knows when we'll get it?

i guess i'm going to be playing Crystal Shard alot next season. both Garchomp LV.X, and Salamence DP3 are great colorless pokemon

OK I'll start digging my grave but allow me to disagree with you all :)

Level Xs are slow to develop, and reliance on Delcatty leaves the deck prospect some serious vulnerabilities.

I'd be surprised if this became an archetype simply because of the inconsistencies. The sheer fact they are treated as basics means you have to revive a stage 1 then evolve to stage two to avoid being trapped by all sorts of walls while they trash Garchomp and leave you with no engine.

I guess it could run Tauros to stop Battle frontier stopping delcatty but then it still needs windstorm for cessation crystal! With all this and the basic nrg dependance, I'm just not convinced.
