It'd be nice if the attack command had the text of attacks instead of just an asterisk, it only tells you if they do damage and you have to get out of the attack menu and read the card so you know what the special effects are.

If you hover the mouse over the attack for a couple seconds, a popup box detailing the effect shows up.

There is also no way to check what is in your discard pile which is useful for certain cards.

You can check your discard pile, as well as your opponents. The menu is often covering your discard pile, but if you hit the arrows or whatever to hide the menu momentarily, you can then click your discard pile and check it.

@scubadude: It's been having mass amounts of people trying to get on. I'm not surprised the server's having some stress. If it won't reload, give it an hour and try back.

And WOW. Most of the 'Reward' changes I can understand, like adding Vaporeons or Interviewers. But the Fire deck? Seriously? The reward for playing with it repeatedly is ANOTHER POKEMON LINE. Why did they add Growlithe/Arcanine instead of increasing the thickness of the other lines? (No offense meant, Arcanite. I'm not dissing Arcanine, just the deckbuilding skills...)

Its a bit... buggy. And by that, I mean it freezes up and when I'm trying to log into it, it stops at 99% and stays there. I dont know how many times I've tried to reload it but it just stays the same. It's frozen up in the matches too. Some other decks would be nice too..

Ok makes sense i hope the real version doesn't have those issues. Also are you capped on the cards for the decks after the first league.

Also I did my custom avatar but did no get the award achievement for it anyone know any of these?

I'm actually really excited about this. Time and financial issues forced me into retirement from the tournament circuit, and with so many other 3rd-party programs vying for dominance of Online PTCG gameplay, I've pretty much fallen out of the game altogether.

So far I like the interface, as the game does most of the work for you; setup takes mere seconds, there's always friendly reminders ("hey, you can still play this!").

I'm not a big fan of the current POV; the semi-3D distanced view. I would much prefer a top-down view so its a little easier to see what your opponent has on the table. I'm also hoping some advancement will be made in the AI. Though I won't hold my breath, it would be interesting to see AI comparable to an actual person. Could prove useful for solo-playtesting.

Can't wait to see more of this game unfold. Playing the game for the first time in a year really reminded me just how much I love this game, even if it was against an AI opponent. Look for me to become more active in the community once again!

I played a bit today. Doing the Trainer Challenge.
I noticed that the CPU LOVES coin flip attacks.
I had a bunch of basics but the CPU never once did the
Take Out attack with his Machamp. He always used the 2nd attack.
It would be interesting to put in an option to play with a non-format deck.
I kind of want to see if my deck would do well vs the CPU.

One thing that has me confused though, when the game goes live do you
have to buy virtual cards?

BTW the 3 decks are just the same as the Heartgold Soulsilver
Starter decks.

No they aren't. For a start they have Pokemon from newer sets than HGSS. If you want to see what they are, seee my post on the previous page.

Wait one of the opponents has a take out machamp while you have starter deck kinda unfair lol.

Well, I dont think it really knows the usefulness of Machamp, seeing how it only does Hurricane Punch and not Take Out. Also, I think the coin flips are unfair. For me, it has several times gotten 4 heads or 3 heads, 1 tails. I think that this is very unfair and that it should be more realistic when it comes to this. Also, some of the cards are modified. For example, Potion heals 30 insead of 20. I noticed that the Electrode's attacks are completely different from what the actual card states. So I think that Pokemon should change this and make it more realistic, in my opinion.

Still the fact is we get garbo cards and they and the opponents get a meta defining card lol.

One thing I noticed is I should be able to look at my entire opening hand when choosing my active Pokemon, if I can't quite tell what a trainer is from the small pic I should be able to read what it says since it can potential change my decision of active Pokemon. Oh and I'd also like to be able to look at my opponents Pokemon after mine get KOd since it does affect my decision.

I also ran into an error when I tried to undo a retreat the Pokemon I had retreated for disappeared.

I also tried to see if the game would run on the Wii, even though the Wii hasn't updated its flash in years I thought it might be able to run but the login for the website does not seem to work on the Wii sadly. It'd be cool if it was possible. I also wish the game wasn't flash based and an actual program, still hoping the interest in the game may be higher than normal and we can get a version for the 3DS or Wii.

YOU should probably warn people about language on that link
didn't notice when I skimmed through he thread, I'll keep the link though since it does have relevant information.

Ran into this error in the top cut, twice now, that I got to select an attack, and then the game freezes and I have no options and I can't get out of it without reloading the page.

edit: Now the game won't even load for me. Stuck at 99%.
