could someone please clarify for me when an active pokemon is knocked out by an attack when it is replaced by a benched pokemon?

for example if player As active pokemon knocks out player Bs active pokemon with an attack is
1)player Bs pokemon replaced with a benched pokemon at the end of player As turn after player A has taken the prize card (which would be before any inbetween turn effects would happen)
or 2)at the start of player Bs turn before they draw a card(after the inbetween turn affects)?

Per the rule book, Pokemon Knocked Out by an attack are replaced as the last thing done that turn, after all other attack effects are applied. So it is before the between turn effects are taken care of.
