OREGON - Black & White Prerelease Tournaments

Great event today! We had 35 players, a new all time high for prereleases for southern Oregon! We also had some great side events, and rumor has it that our numbers beat portland's first flight!! Sorry Guardian Games, didn't mean to steal your THUNDER! HA! I'm just gonna put a check in the win column on that one, and get me a big "Mission Accomplished" banner for the league store.

Really great event today guys, I'm super proud of everybody, I can't wait until battle roads!
 
Congratulations to Southern Oregon and Some Updates

While Portland will have to concede the victory in attendance to Southern Oregon for the morning session, an honor the Southern Oregon players certainly deserve for their dedication and enthusiasm, the victory was short lived. The afternoon session brought in an additional 60 players for an overall attendance of 84. Everyone is a winner here however, since you all got THE NEW SET!!! We did lots of give-aways and some lucky people even got their choice of a Black and white figure through a drawing that we will be doing at all the remaining three prereleases.

We also had some time to work on the Spring Battle Road schedule, and as soon as we confirm the dates with the venues we will announce the schedule for those tournaments. We will have 12 of them so you better get those decks ready. The other decision we finally made is exactly when our DS side events will be going to Black and White. Since everyone seems to have B&W, even though they may not have their team all ready for battle yet, we are getting very little interest in doing the DS with HGSS. Therefore -
We will move to Black and White for the DS side events when Spring Battle Roads start.

Our Victory wasn't short lived! :smile: I'm not expecting to EVER beat portland outright, it's like Rhode Island trying to beat
California, it just can't be done! Victory is about making an accomplishment, and Southern Oregon did that Big time yesterday
with that attendance!

But we have a great guy out in Grants Pass starting up a great new league out there, and bringing us new players, and
the game stores are being really supportive and our leagues are growing every week! I'm very happy about what's
happening in southern oregon right now!

i got second at the booster draft. because jozef had an active pidove, topdecked the evolution, then next turn got the stage two -.- whatever, in my second place packs i got emboar :p
 
I'm interested in knowing what the results were for this weekends events. (Really I just wanna know if we beat the attendence
