Last year, I went to pick up my badge on Thrusday Morning at Origins thank good I was nice and early, the pre-regerstration line was huge! However I don't think that was anything in comparison to the onsite regestration line. Whatever the case its better policy to buy now.

News Update
There have been no changes in the avalablity of the hotels currently listed. Also the tournament schedule has yet to change. Remember the schedule will change! I keep checking it every day though.

With most of the other events now scheduled this is going to start to cause some problems.

I am signing up for other events and would appreciate it if Pokemon would firm up the schedule. I have already signed up for Nationals and now I'm worried that this event, if changed, is going to conflict with some other events that I have signed up for.

Well mike im guessing that means you and alan have the money up to go to origins?? I hope so because it would be cool to cruise to ohio with all my buddies agauin like last year. Mysterious i took your advice and my badge along with all my events are all paid for so all i gotta do is wensday walk in and pick up my badge and im set :D
 
I really hope I can go... I live in Florida so it wouldn't be easy to convince my parents to take me across the country... for a Pokémon convention... but I might be able to get them to take me. Are there going to be any team events (besides the sealed)? Will there be any Game Boy events? I can't seem to find many of these where I live and it would be great if there were some at Origins!

The events that are posted are the only event to be run. They are just in the wrong times right now. So no, there are no other Team event or any Pokemon Game Boy Tournaments, but hey I will have at least my Game Boy with me! Come challenge me!
 
Remember what david said. The schedule will change for the better so im guessing knwing how many 10- players are gonna be tehre and even the 15+ that they will make a team tournmant that will be constructed and probabily have a game boy battle area set up. I cant see them not promotingt the game boy that way.

Luckally it was fixed by gama on my schedule but i wanted this sent straight to the boards so everyone can :D and :clap: for nintendo.

Ohh yeah there is a team sealed on sunday now that i noticed. They stripped a modified event to add it. So now pokemon is all better and everything is all fine and dandy in the nintendo realm. ;)

Good grab ahead of me Rainbow. I'll go ahead and edit and "black back in" the full tournament information. This is most likely the offical tournament schedule however I would like to remind you all that any can happen. And believe weird happen in the Pokemon-e Trading Card Game world. So I just keeping checking, not just in the schedule but also in the avalable seats left.

Anyways, as we were there have been no hotel changes or other news conserning the Origins Gaming Convention. I should like to remind you I would like to hear what hotel you are staying, the events you are participating in and of course...

IF YOU ARE ATTENDING ORIGINS AT ALL!

So if you haven't already please make some noise I really want to have names to put with the faces at Origins this year.

Also to keep all of you and myself tied over from Origins crave for the next two mintues (or maybe more) I would love to hear ideas that we (the Pokegym community) could do to make our experience at worlds a more fun experience for all of us! Does anyone remember the "I was krouged at Origins 2003 pins that Sensei made last year?" We need something like that again however the Modified Format so sparce in any signature moves or pokemon that I can't think of anything. Maybe when EX: Team Magma vs. Team Aqua comes out we can work on that some more.

I have a question, I keep calling this hotel to see if they are providing a shuttle and they keep telling me no. is there something I have to say or do to get the shuttle... can someone help? I'm trying to make reservations for the 6 of us, but this shuttle thing is kinda important cause it would save a car rental. (we are coming in from Orlando)

Hmmm, while not an answer, I don't remember seeing any shuttles last year (we had rooms there, but I had driven there from MD), but then I wasn't really looking.

Myst??? What do you know? Is GAMA/Origins sending a shuttle round to the area hotels?

Hi! Which hotel are you trying to get into? If it's a drive from Origins and you want to get closer, I have a suggestion that may help:

My group and I are staying at the Hyatt which is just above the Convention Center. The rate is 112 per night for the event. As far as I understand, there should be some rooms left available, but I'd check with them anyway. I hope this information helps. :)

Its just a guy with a van that holds about 8 people. Not useful if you go to origins extremely early or if you leave extremly late.
 
The Tyrouge Awards were my wife's idea. My wife and I eneded up making a boat load of them and giving most of them away. As I don't believe that we're going to be running the events this year (this may change, we're not sure, but all signs point to no) and there's no FTKO killer card like Tyrouge in the environment anymore (at least right now), I don't think we're going to be producing a product like that this time around.
