Matt: lol. Seriously though, I do appreciate it, I just have to keep my "that guy is impossibly cool online" image by pretending to insult people. XD. On a side note, I finally know who ArticJedi is. I've been trying to figure that out for quite some time. >_>
 
Wow, I see loads of posts from you and stuff, but their mostly about video games, and life and stuff, and I thought you just liked pokemon, not that you were good at it.

good job marvin! i really think your deck is interesting; especially since it crushes gyarados (I was TERRIFIED of Jimmy ballard's deck). It was cool to see you up in the top after that one CC i met you at!

Daniel: Oh, the funniest part is that I hadn't looked at the Gym for at least a week prior to the tourney, so I had no idea about this whole Gyrados madness. I put the Crystals in there just so Garde couldn't copy any supporters, hence the Steven's. lol. I am so lucky I did that, and I'm also lucky that Arithmetic doesn't run Windstorms.
 
Woot go Marvin! I love seeing your decks, they are always so awesome. My favorite is still that Grumpig CG + Meganium d DF though. That was just stylish. Mortar w/CC should've won the whole shebang. That would've been freakin epic. But even the finals is beyond what I could make (curse you Opponent's Opponent's WP). I still think it takes more skill to manipulate who you play to get EXACTLY 1 below top cut. Just my style i guess XD. 17th by 4 points is just sexy.

So you going to nats right? Gonna kill them to?

Well, Jimmy Ballard suggested running Meganium with the piggy (may as well give credit where credit is due. lol). But, yeah, I wish that deck would have worked better. It just can't stand up to PLOX. GG, maybe, but not PLOX. It just MAULS Magmortar, though. :)

Yeah, I might go to nats. I'd have to arrange a ride in advance and continue soaking up unemployment money, though (if I get a job by then, there's no way I would be able to ask for a week vacation after working there for only a month or two).

It's not really a rogue deck so much as just a new way of playing an old deck. BTW, I still need a name for this stupid thing. How's Maglock sound?
