that would be pretty cool. IMO and what i would like the most is Porygon-Z (idc what color) with the durability and style of the Lucario sleeves, IMO, sleeves didn't get any better than the Lucario one's

They're probably going to be Black sleeves with Garchomp but they SHOULD be pink sleeves with P-Z/Cresselia on them.:thumb:

The sleeves for this set, IMHO, would be something revolving around the Eeveelutions, more so toward Glaceon and Leafeon. However, Garchomp is another good candidate for this set. Upon looking at some of the latest trend, from SW to GE, they used pokemon from the pack art for the sleeves, so maybe that'll be the case again.
Honestly though, I HOPE they do the Lucario type of sleeves. They were very durable, but these Electivire, Weevile, etc. sleeves are just terrible quality that won't last a person very long at all.
I agree with you on both parts. If the pokemon on the sleeves is one of the ones on the pack wrappers, we can automatically rule out Darkrai since he was on the sleeves for Great Encounters. This would, in theory, leave Hippowdon, Empoleon, and Garchomp, which means that for what it's worth, Garchomp has the best odds of being the pokemon that ends up on the sleeves, but I don't think we can totally rule out Leafeon and Glaceon

as for the durability of the sleeves, it seems like the Lucario ones are holding up a lot better on my one deck than any of the other ones I've gotten (with the exception of my Darkrai ones, but I just put them into use last week), so I hope maybe they'll just do with the new ones like they did with the Lucario sleeves and just make them durable

The Lucario sleeves are good because they were see through. When people starting complaining about them, the next set, they were Electivire Sleeves, and the Lucario sleeves were x100 better. The Electivire, Weavile and Darkrai sleeves are cheap because they are non see through. Have you guys noticed that? I could be wrong, but I have supported the case with my knowledge.

well the reason i think that POP decided to go with the solid sleeves, is cause of the see through factor.

Im hopong for Jirachi Sleeves... If that ever comes out, ill be goin to quite a few PRs

You reallly can't guess on the pokemon on the pack covers. Remember the Electivire sleeves from MT?

Can we stop having bad quality sleeves? I like sleeves that are useful to me and don't fall apart after 2 league games. The Lucario sleeves were good because they were made with Ultra Pro's usual quality in mind. Then they got cheap and started giving us sleeves that just couldn't handle the pressure of constant shuffling. Yeah, you could see through them, so stop playing japanese cards.

That aside, Garchomp. Navy Blue.

okay, I'll give you that, but the odds really seem to favor one of the Pokemon that appear on the pack wrappers, but then again, as in the case of Electivire, it may not be the case, thank you for reminding me that Electivire was not on the wrappers for the packs

I, along w/ others, want the Lucario type for they were very durable. I hope they have colors... My predictions are: Any of the Eevees, Kabutops:clap:, Garchomp, or something that's completely unexpected..

prolly glaceon or leafeon. look at it this way, when mysterious treasures came out, electivire was the one who got the sleeves, and magmortar and electivire were counterparts, as they both had lv. x's in the set, and obviously are counterparts in the games.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

oooh scratch that, it will be cressy! think it out, they just came with darkrai sleeves, why not cressy now, considering they both are in back to back sets?

Well, I'm positive it will be Garchomp cause in the Prerelease ad there is Glaceon-Garchomp-Leafeon(or vice-versa). Either way he is in the middle.

I say it's either Garchomp or Empoleon because the pattern is the pokemon on the sleeve is in the booster pack art from it's own set or the set that came out before that. We know it won't be darkrai and most likely not hippowondon. It's problaly chomp becasue it's the most hyped and rarer. It could also be cresselia because it's in this set and was on the art from GE. Also if palkia or dialga come out they are in the options too.

So I say either chomp, Empoleon, Cresselia, Palkia, Dialga.

why?

this is way up on the list of mod/admin peeves: people who delete their original post then demand 'their' thread be closed, for no good reason.

the thread was discussion/speculation about what the prerelease sleeves would be; since the info was disclosed this morning via the australian players in the thread about their nationals (...*before* it appeared on that other site, BTW) that suddenly negates the entire thread's worth of discussion?

'mom =/
