Points for US Nats?

US nats are using Play! Points right, and you get those every time you go to a tournament regardless of how you do, correct?

Yes. You get X amount of Play! Points depending on the event. I believe you need 15 Play! Points to participate in Nationals.

I want to say six, but I am sure I am wrong on that. It may be on the official website somewhere.

no, you only get points if you place in the top half of the top cut (usually).

No, this is Play! Points, not Championship Points.

Regionals was worth 5 Play! Points for everybody that played.

Expect that Cities are worth less than that.

and you need 15 for NATS

I thought i read somewhere that nats only needed 10 play points? Doesnt really matter for me as I've already gone to a billion tournaments this season.

Wait, I remember hearing that if you placed 3rd-1st place at regionals, you had a spot at Nats., regaurdless of how many points you have.

Never heard of that before, though if you're finishing 1st-3rd at Regionals you'll probably have attended enough events to qualify. 10 isn't very hard to get, considering you get 5 from Regionals. Also, you get 2 from Cities.
