Welcome to the Pokegym Skype League! What do we do you may ask? We test decks and have discussions over webcam with the program Skype. All you have to do is post when you can get on and find somebody that gets on at the same time. Its really easy and fun. To join you must post your Skype name or email address. Tournaments are coming as soon as we get enough players, so recuit people and stay active!

I'm not sure if we are willing to have an open forum for WebCam based battles.
Let me get an answer from the higher-ups on this guys. There may be internet-safety issues with this.

Why? We post pictures on FaceBook and post videos on Youtube. We interact on forums and IRL. Why can't we discuss another way to battle here? These question will only apply if this "League" gets the boot.

Skype encourages video interaction that's not nearly as anonymous as message board posts.
This may or may not be harmless. Nonetheless, having a "league" set up for this would be providing a public portal for that method of private interaction among site visitors.

The fact that you don't see how that can be an issue speaks to your good nature. :smile:

Well, I do understand where you are coming from and I can completely agree that "video portals" could be potentially dangerous. My problem is that this thread has only been up for a while with no reported problems and there is a possibility of it being locked. "If it isn't broken, don't fix it" should be applied here. If there are no reported issues, it is safe until someone ruins it. Thats my only problem.

If there are problems, allow only 18+ to post in this thread (with verification).

I went to the beach and added a whole bunch of people so if anyone could tell them that I am willing to battle a lot that would be awesome (I am banned on the Beach).

Could we not just use headsets only? If the issue is video remove it. You are at the computer any way play over RS and use this as a voice chat. Makes playing a dream,
