This year at AnCon, there will be several Pokémon related activities to engage in for all ages!

There will be a Pokémon League going on the entire weekend. At league, there will be chances for players to earn cool promotional prizes! Dedicated Official Pokémon Professors will be available to teach you the skills required to be a Pokémon Master. League Play will be available for both the Trading Card Game as well as Pokémon Black and White for your Nintendo DS video game systems! Demo decks will be available for players without a deck to learn how to play.

We will also be holding several tournaments:

TCG Theme Deck Challenge
- Players receive a 60-card theme deck and 4 booster packs from the same set to modify their deck! This is a great way to learn the basics of deckbuilding. The entry fee allows players to keep the deck! Pokémon Professors will be on hand to answer any rulings questions. Prizes for all who play!
TCG Booster Draft- Players receive 5 packs of Pokémon cards from one of the newest TCG sets. Players will then construct a deck using those cards and basic energies provided by the staff. The tournament will be sanctioned so players can earn Play! Pokémon Points. Pokémon Professors will be on hand to answer any rulings questions. Prizes for all who play!
TCG Unlimited- Players construct 60-card decks using any Pokémon Cards ever printed! The tournament will be sanctioned so players can earn Play! Pokémon Points. Earn enough of these points and you can play in the National Championship! Pokémon Professors will be on hand to answer any rulings questions. Prizes for all who play!
TCG Modified- Players construct 60-card decks using any Pokémon Cards printed from HeartGold SoulSilver or newer(including any cards reprinted like pokeball or double colorless energy). This is the official tournament structure for most Pokémon events. The tournament will be sanctioned so players can earn Play! Pokémon Points. Earn enough of these points and you can play in the National Championship! Pokémon Professors will be on hand to answer any rulings questions. Prizes for all who play!
VG Modified- Players engage in battle using their Nintendo DS Pokémon Black or White games! The official modified rules will be used. To find these rules, visit www.330games.com and click on the video games tab. The tournament will be sanctioned so players can earn Play! Pokémon Points. Earn enough of these points and you can play in the National Championship! Pokémon Professors will be on hand to answer any rulings questions. Prizes for all who play!

All events will be run by A.J. or Hoolon Mike, Akron area's Pokémon Tournament Organizers. Players typically are between ages 5-55. Most players are kids who love Pokémon , teenagers and young adults who grew up with Pokémon , and parents or relatives who enjoy playing a competitive yet fun game with family members. For any questions regarding these events please feel free to send an e-mail to [email protected] or visit www.330games.com to learn more about local leagues and upcoming events.
