Greetings Friends,

I'm proud to announce that I will be hosting another Pokemon day event at Kinokuniya bookstore on Sunday, November 14, at 1:pM.

Participants of past Pokemon day events can recall their epic battles, cool prizes, and best of all, the great learning experience they earned for the upcoming premier ranking tournaments!

My tournament will include trophies for the top three players in their respected age division and free Pokemon giveaways! This is an excellent way to spend time with family and friends while getting your deck in shape for the upcoming City Championships!

My tournament is primarily for the learning experience. I do allow proxy cards to be used;however, I must insist that proxy cards be in an opaque sleeve, with a clear print out of the proxy card underneath an official Pokemon card. Please follow this link (provided below this paragraph) for further details.

Start time: 1: PM
Entry Fee: $3
Format: Modified (Triumphant cards will be allowed)
Prizes: Trophies awarded to the top three players and Kinokuniya's Pokemon prize
Address: Kinokuniya Bookstore
1073 Avenue of the Americas
New York, NY 10018

Thank you for reading and please make plans to join us Sunday, November 14, at 1PM.

Greetings Friends,

I wanted to make clear that the tournament, Pokémon day, will take place on the second floor in Kinokuniya bookstore. However, please pay your entry fee of only $3 at the cash register on the first floor.

I apologize for any inconvenience this had caused: I do not like to bombard you with lots of e-mails.

Take care and I look forward to seeing you Sunday at Pokémon day.

Sincerely,

Frankie

Dear Friends,

I would like to thank you for attending Pokémon day at Kinokuniya bookstore this past Sunday and making it an even more successful tournament than previous Pokémon day events—thank you very, very much. If it were not for your support, Pokémon day at Kinokuniya bookstore would not have grow into the action packed, good time juggernaut that it is today.

I plan on hosting another Pokémon day at Kinokuniya bookstore one week before every Pokémon Organized Play (P.O.P) event this year. Please check your e-mail often for updates, or check back here (under local tournaments) for the most up-to-date information about Pokémon day at Kinokuniya bookstore.

If you have some time, please check out the photos of this past event—I guarantee you will enjoy them and think of found memories of this experience.

1st Place Juniors, Pokemon Day, NYC

I was the defending Junior champion for Pokemon Day in NYC and I played Gyarados updated for Triumphant. Having a tournament in a bookstore was an awesome idea.

Rnd 1 vs Liam (DialgaChomp)
I knew what his deck build was because he came without a deck and I lent him one for the day. He started with an Uxie and Azelf and I with Sableye and Magikarp. I got setup in the usual 2 turns and started KOing things. He never got anything going.
1-0

Rnd 2 vs Andrew (rogue deck)
I started with a Crobat and nothing else. I used Cynthias Feelings for 4 cards T1 and got a Sableye. I got setup as usual and he never knocked out the first Gyarados.
2-0

Rnd 3 vs Brandon (Gyarados)
We both started with Sableye and I had a Magikarp on the bench. He won the flip and went first. We both got set up. He took the first prize and KO’d a Sableye. I KOd his first Gyarados. One time during the game he didn’t have the recovery and had to give up 2 prizes to get back a Gyarados. He KO’d my Gyarados with Rescue energy on it putting it back into my hand when I had only 1 prize left to his 3. I Collectored for a Ditto and 2 Sabeyes, Benched Ditto and a Crobat G and Flash Bite on Gyarados, retreat the active Crobat G putting Ditto active, Regimoved a Sableye and Magikarp and Tail Revenge for 120 with Ditto!
3-0 for 1st and the championship!

Props:
Defending my title!
Great giveaways
The bookstore is awesome
