Pokemon Reversal has been printed in 4 different sets in Japans. It first appeared in VS, then E-Card 1, ADV 1's Torchic mini deck, and then in a Movie release commemoration VS pack

The wording for the VS and E-Card 1 versions are identical

The wording from ADV 1's Torchic mini deck was changed to accommodate double active battles

The wording from the Movie release commemoration VS pack was identical with ADV 1's except that it also included a (reminder text).

The (reminder text) translates into "The Opponent chooses which of his/her active pokemon is replaced"

You can see a scan of the Japanese Versions here

The American Ex-Ruby/Sapphire's Pokemon Reversal was translated incorectly, with wording implying that the opponent would choose which of his benched pokemon would be replaced with his active. The opponent actually chooses which of his active pokemon are switched, while the user of the card chooses which benched pokemon is switched. (VERY similiar to Salamance's Dragon Wind Poke-Power)

This ruling error needs to be fixed ASAP.

    Opposition?
We bring PUI the questions, give them the reasoning, they make the rulings.

The last word from them was to play the card as most recently printed.
Unless the new set is going to reprint it with changed text, that's it.
We've given them the images you provided.

since we are international over here can we follow the Japanese text? At the moment the card doesn't see play as it is a waste of a slot. But with the origianl japanese text it would be worth a space in your deck.
