ya ight want to fit dunspace in there as a starter i did and it works out pretty well also i took out 2 claw fossil for it because i really do not like claw fossil anyway.
 
claw fossil is the best one because it's the only one that hurts the opponent!!!

and a starter?!?!?! What for, you're starting with fossils, poliwags, and pidgeys. What else do you need?
 
Actually he's right ludiculous. Dunsparce can confuse and switch to the bench, just like Politeod's Punch and run. It could be pretty helpfull against starters like Jirachi. I'll test it out camerongira. Thanks for the idea.
 
Dunsparce? Never thought of that. Great idea! Thats going straight into my grumpig deck! Also, celebi ex may be a good idea (depending on how you play) But i personally think it`s to fragile. 80hp for an ex is pretty bad. Plus you can only use super scoop up to get it out of play.
 
sure dunsparce is a cool disruption idea, but i really don't think it's necessary. you're stalling with the fossils and taking up bench room with dunsparce would be no good. plus, taking out 2 claw fossils, the core of the strategy of the deck, just leaves you with less stalling power. to fit in 4 dunsparce, i'd take out the following:

-1 great ball
-2 copycat
-1 rocket's admin

try that out.
 
I wouldn't put in 4. If I did put in any it would be 2 or 3. and I would take out 2 or 3 Great Ball for them. Great Ball's only purpose is to make sure you don't run out of basic's on your bench.

Thats not really true. I use it for if i start with a lone fossil.
 
Well, thats basicly the same thing, but think about it for a second. If I took out Great Ball for Dunsparce I would draw a Dunsparce instead of Great Ball. Fufilling your purpose for Great ball.
 
hey slash, its been awhile since you have posted a "revised" list

could you take into account all the recomendations that people have given you, and post a current deck list


also could you summerize what people have recommended but you have NOT put into the deck

I apologize to every one who has asked for a revised list, I've been very busy, but as soon as I get the time I will definitly take all your comments into consideration and make a revised list. Thanks for all your patients.

If your looking for a solid Politoed ex deck list, check out NC states report. NC states was won by a Politoed ex deck.

i would take out claw for root though but i do understand why claw is i n there. also you ned more draw power take out 1 giant stump and stevens advice.

I would never ever take out a Stadium. I need 4 to take out any Ruins I come up against.

allright then take out steven and a petm for 2 por or any other drawing (high drawing POR) or somethig like that.

Sounds good. I'm not sure it need smore drawing, but I will test it out.

did you end up running 4 sparce?

Yes I did. I also desided to put in Holon energy WP. With that attached to Politoed ex they woun't be able to place counters on him which is really nice.
 
Yes, Poliwrath would be a good idea, but I think your using the wrong one. IMO The UF version would work way better in this deck. If you were battling Rock-Lcok you could move out Poliwrath UF and take them down because they are week to fighting.
