I have another question guys!

I really like the classics Professor Oak card. What I want to know is if I can use it in a standard-modified deck or not. Would I need a reference card like juniper or sycamore?

You cannot use it in Standard or Expanded because of the differing name. Similarly, you can't use Night Maintenance instead of Super Rod in Expanded.

Neither Professor Oak and Juniper/Sycamore nor Night Maintenance and Super Rod are exactly the same in terms of gameplay.

There are examples of cards who indeed are exactly the same, like Gust of Wind and pre-nerf Pokémon Catcher, or Warp Point and Escape Rope, but as King Piplup said, you can't play the old versions either because of different names.
