    Scizor-Cherrim-Vespiquen deck! SWARM em!

    Pokemon

    Scyther MD

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Scyther L.12 – Grass – HP70
    Basic Pokemon

    [C] Slash: 10 damage.
[G][C] Fury Cutter: 10 damage. Flip 3 coins. If 1 is heads, this attack does an additional 10 damage. If 2 are heads, this attack does an additional 20 damage. If all 3 are heads, this attack does an additional 40 damage.

    Weakness: Fire (+20)
    Resistance: Fighting (-20)
    Retreat: 1

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Scyther...well he's just better that the IFIDS Scyther. Faster damage.

    Scizor IFIDS

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Scizor LV.47 – Grass – HP100
Stage 1 – Evolves from Scyther

    Poke-Body: Honeycomb Defender
If this Pokemon has 6 or more damage counters on it, any damage dome to this Pokemon by attacks is reduced by 40.

[C][C] Accelerate: 30 damage. If the Defending Pokemon is Knocked Out by this attack, prevent all effects of attacks, including damage, done to Scizor during your opponent’s next turn.
[G][G] Push Through: 40 damage. If you don’t have any Pokemon with Poke-Powers in play, this attack does an additional 30 damage.

    Weakness: Fire (+20)
    Resistance: none
    Retreat: 1

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Scizor is ideally the main attacker. For low HP Pokemon Accelerate may be the perfect choice(won't get attacked!), but for most Stage 2s you'll probably have to Push Through and then Accelerate. Honeycomb Defender is great too, upping your defense when you need it most. Kingdra will have trouble.

    Cherubi IFIDS

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Cherubi LV.9 – Grass – HP50
    Basic Pokemon

[.] Nap: Remove 2 damage counters from Cherubi.
[G] Bullet Seed: Flip 4 coins, this attack does 10 damage x the number of heads.

    Weakness: Fire (+10)
    Resistance: Water (-20)
    Retreat: 1

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This Cherubi is self-healing, and fast if you're lucky, so a Cherubi start isn't too bad.
    __________________________________________________________

    Cherrim IFIDS

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Cherrim LV.30 – Grass – HP80
Stage 1 – Evolves from Cherubi

    Poke-Body: Sunny Day
Each of your Grass-type and Fire-type Pokemon’s attacks does an additional 10 damage to your opponent’s Active Pokemon.

[.] Sweet and Salty Pollen: 20 damage. Remove 2 damage counters from 1 of your Pokemon.
    [G][C][C] Solar Beam: 50 damage.

    Weakness: Fire (+20)
    Resistance: Water (-20)
    Retreat: 1

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He's mainly support to supe up the damage of Scizor and Vespiquen, but with a possible 60 damage for no energy and 90 for 3, he's not too shabby. Mostly though you'll want to keep him benched.
    __________________________________________________________

    Combee IFIDS

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Combee LV.12– Grass – HP50
    Basic Pokemon

    Pokemon Tool: Sweet Honey
During your turn, when you play this Pokemon from your hand onto your Bench, search your discard pile for 1 Basic Pokemon card and play it onto your Bench.

[C] Notify: Draw 1 card from your deck. Then, you may switch Combee with one of your Benched Pokemon.

    Weakness: Fire (+10)
    Resistance: Fighting (-20)
    Retreat: 1

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

His attack is ok for a start. I know what I'll get the most flak about here is not choosing the DP Combee for his lovable first attack, which lures out a poke from the bench and inflicts sleep. But Honey is just better for this deck. Some pokes WILL die, and he can fill up your bench again. With Lumineon hanging around, you can imagine why this is important.
    __________________________________________________________

    Vespiquen IFIDS

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Vespiquen LV.44 – Grass – HP100
Stage 1 – Evolves from Combee

    Poke-Body: Green Will
This Body works as long as you have more Prize cards remaining than your opponent. Any damage done to any Active Pokemon by this Pokemon’s attacks is increased by 10 for each Grass-type Pokemon on your Bench.

[G] Bee Drain: 20 damage. Remove damage from Vespiquen equal to the amount of damage done to the Defending Pokemon by this attack.
[G][C] Bee Powder: 50 damage. Flip 2 coins, if both are heads the Defending Pokemon is now Poisoned, Burned, and Paralyzed.

    Weakness: Fire (+20)
    Resistance: Fighting (-20)
    Retreat: 1

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Vespiquen is your beastly late game attacker, Vespiquen is your trump card, a secondary main attacker if things get hot. In the case you're losing, she does 50 more damage. What's that, four Cherrim on the Bench? Why, I think I just did 140 for two energy. Thanks for the prizes.

    Trainers/Stadiums/Supporters

    Bebe's Search
I'm pretty sure this is obvious. Find pokemon.

    Roseanne's Research
    Find Pokemon......and energy.

    PokeRadar
    Find Pokemon...without wasting a supporter.

    Buck's Training
    Draw and damage support.

    Cynthia's Plan
If the opponent gets going you'll likely be going blow for blow. If they KO someone, you can get a fresh 8 new cards. Likely, something you'll need is in there.

    Dawn Stadium
Healing is good. Attach an energy and heal...

    Night Maintenance
As discussed in this topic, you will die. These Pokemon don't have Wailord HP. Bring back some dead pokes.

    Pluspower
    Up the damage! KO!
    ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

    Energy

    Call Energy
    Attach, search for pokemon.

    Grass Energy
Your energy of the grass persuasion.

Scyther is from Pokegym, the rest are from the PokeBeach.

Dusknoir & the new Mismagius will both hold your bench size down. how much of a problem would that be for your swarm?

Not much particularly. Having a full bench is mostly a defense against the new Lumineon. If I get Dusknoir'd, it's not a big deal. Less Cherrim yeah, but I can 2HKO Dusknoir even without support.

Add atleast 1 Luxury ball =P
Also why not Shaymin lvlX, Scizor's body comboes with Sense of Graditude.

    Hi Supes,

Nice deck. The new Scizor is indeed an ideal choice as an attacker and even better with some Cherim assistance.

Consider Dusk Ball instead of Bebe since the deck would be much faster and the chosen Pokémon count combines well with the Radar Ball engine.

Not sure on the Vespiquen in this deck. It is indeed a nice card but it seems like Scizor is a better choice here. That would enable one to tech a small Shaymin line to turn Scizor into a tank. That seems to be needed since there are several decks able to dish out 100 in one shot now.

Also consider to loose Rosanne since the Radar Balls should be able to obtain the needed cards real fast. Add a fourth Radar and one more Plan. Spend the two more slots on Grass energies and two more tech trainers.

My reasoning behind this is actually that we are likely not going to get Shaymin in the English version of the set to coalign with the movie. This deck is mostly for the purpose of tournament inbetween those sets's releases.

Sounds reasonable. Still Vespiquen does not seem to fit that well into the deck since this is in essence a speed theme and not supposed to fall too much behind. If Shaymin is released within time tech in a smallish line since it assists Scizor even though it is not needed all that bad. Not entire sure on Call Energy in case Scizor remains to be the main focus since he is unable to benefit much from it due to his attack costs. In case you are interested to test this deck on apprentice let me know.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

    Hi Supes,

    Consider this version:

    POLLEN DUST

    POKEMON (20):

    4 Scyther L.11 (evolution)
    4 Cherubi L.7 (evolution)
    2 Shaymin L.42 (enable)
    4 Scizor L.47 (beatdown)
    4 Cherrim L.30 (enable)
    2 Shaymin L.X (enable)

    TRAINER (25):

    3 Rosanne's Research (search)
    3 Snowpoint Temple (enable)
    3 Professor Oak's Visit (draw)
    3 Pokémon Radar (search)
    4 Buck's Training (draw)
    3 Cynthia's Plan (draw)
    3 Quick Ball (search)
    3 Great Ball (search)

    ENERGY (15):

    15 Grass Energy

    MAIN IDEA:

The main focus would be Scizor with Shaymin as an assistance line to handle Dusknoir and clean the board in case the hand is filled with two or more Grass Energies to be attached to the benched offense force.
