Is there a non-holo Dragon Frontiers Rayquaza ex number 97/101?

No. If you have one, go find matches and burn it! It's FAKE!

Thanks , that is what I thought.

Some dude on ebay listed it as as Holo and sent me the fake non holo version. I told him it was fake and he replied that the Beckett price guide lists the non holo version and would give me a refund.

I returned it for a refund.

Who should I report this guy too other than ebay??

If you ebayed it sometimes they don't know they are selling fake cards.
I would nicely say yeah this is fake and return it.

I have seen many fake cards of Newer sets like DF and DX.

In my opinion, if someone is selling Pokemon cards on ebay, they should know what they are selling, and not use the excuse that they didnt know. One thing I feel about selling/trading on the internet is that trust is what its all about. If you arent sure what you selling, you can get the reputation of being not trustworthy, intentionally or not. I guess if I was to sell on ebay, and I have, I would do all I could to have as much information as possible about what I was selling, and represent it as accurately as I could. The last thing I want is the wrong reputation on the internet. I mean how are you going to build a positive rep on ebay and make money if noone trusts you.

I would think about turning this issue in as a cautionary thing. Not so much as they were trying to rip you off, but that they are selling things without accurate info about them or unintentionally misrepresenting them.

    Just my 2 cents worth.:thumb:

Be aware the Worlds 2007 decks are out now and several non-foil EX pokemon will hit ebay.
Most of those sellers don't know those are not tournament legal and sell them as being the "originals".

Don't know? I bet they know. They just don't care.
They word their sales carefully to avoid outright fraud.

Well, they made a Nintendo Power Promo of Groudon ex and Kyogre ex. They were tournament leagal authentic non-holo ex cards. However, there is an official holo version!

Rayquaza ex d DF is one of those WC 2007 promos. I already saw one on eBay.

I do recall saying PROMO as well in my sentance.... Sincd you said it is from DF, that means this isn't a promo. It is fake.

Your statement really didn't make much sense, so I just tried to interpret it . Sorry if I misrepresented you.

I have to disagree completly you make it sound as if people should be honest about what they are selling. With this logic how do you expect ebay sellers to sell worlds promos for almost as much as the real cards.

    My 2 cents
