Everyone's saying that you can't use Fossil Excavator to get Old Amber or Aerodactyl.
However, Fossil Excavator refers to a "card that evolves from a Fossil." Now, in the glossary of instruction manual, it refers to Fossil Pokemon, which would include Old Amber. Wouldn't that make Aerodactyl evolve from a Fossil, therefore searchable by Fossil Excavator?

If Fossil Excavator would read "or a Stage 1 or a Stage 2 Evolution card that evolves from a Pokémon with Fossil in its name" i would totally agree because Old Amber does not have fossil in its name. But it says "evolves from a Fossil" and Old Amber is a Fossil (at least for the purpose of starting the game) and this is puzzling me. Or is the translation of Fossil Excavator not exact enough?
