First of all, if this isn't in the right place, could a mod please move it? Thanks!
I have red shark on my computer, but can't figure out how to connect to others to battle online. That's something I'd really like to get into to test against others than the usual people at my league.

So, really, two questions: How do I connect/ battle with others via RS or Apprentice?

and

Does anyone wanna battle:redface:

Hello there,
In order to play online using either Apperintce or Redshark you need to download the program Hamachi.

What Hamachi will do for your computer is that it enables secure remote access to your business network, anywhere there's an Internet connection. It works with your existing firewall, and requires no additional configuration.

Once you download this program you will be able to input your I.P address and play your friends online.

I would love to play online with you, but maybe next week. This week I have a presentation for my management class and then I have to fly to Houston. To make things worse, the WI-FI at the airports are terrible so I will lag a lot (Red bars in WOW all the time).

Hope that helps,
Deckmaster™

I made a website with links to all the info and downloads you'll need! Check it out in my sig! I'll try to add links to the Apprentice program and patch (that deckmaster made) soon. However, I much prefer to play Redshark. Have fun with it!

And to answer question #2.. YEAH I WANT TO BATTLE!!!!

as far as which is better, RS in my opinion. It even has a RPS game, a way to use other trainers like quick ball, more colorful, special conditions markers, etc.

Overall way better then appr.

Is it just me or is the shuffler in redshark weird? With 10 basics in my deck I got 7 mulligans.. and there is hardly a game where I get a basic in my very first hand.

not really, I like the shuffling system in Redshark a little bit better then Apprentice. Like to me, in my builds, it's very realistic to the opening hands I get in real life play testing.

i installed redshark for the first time and the window size is weird. theres no maximise button and you cant drag the edges of the window the way you want it, so i cant view the bottom of the screen. solutions??

how do you sort the cards in your deck in deck editor? like say the energy trainers and pokemon are all over the place, how do you move them around?

just a suggestion to the guy that made redshark, if a card has been reprinted, dont put all its reprints into the deck builder, just put the newest version.

I can help you with this part! Yeah, you can't resized the Redshark window, the size is set in stone. So, what you'll have to do is increase your screen resolution. To do this right-click on your desktop. Select Properties from the drop-down list. Go to the Settings tab in Preferences. Now you can mess around with different screen resolutions. Find one that lets you see the entire Redshark window, but doesn't make everything else to small. Good luck!

As "the guy who made redshark", thanks for the suggestion, but because the cards are entered by set, duplicates and reprints will exist. However, in most cases, using the 'series' filter in the Deck Builder (usually to the current modified legal setting, e.g. "HP on") is the best way to remove most, and sometimes all, of the duplicate/reprint cards.

Thanks again for the suggestion and enjoy Redshark.

cool  i never noticed that series filter. i dont suppose you have a way to rearrange cards in your decks in deck builder?

Not at this point, but it does arrange them in a consistent order:

1. pokemon
2. trainers
3. energy

Each group above is listed in alphabetical order.
