Version 3.1 fixes the redirect. It's still being rolled out on Google's servers. You can go to https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.doeiqts.PTCGOCodeScanner to see what version is currently live and update from there if the new version has gone out. Right now we're still waiting on Google.

So when you copy a code with the dashes into the Windows client it doesn't accept the code? I know it used to, and for readability it's easier to leave the dashes in there. But if it truly doesn't accept them with the dashes I will take them out. I already have to strip them for the redemption process, but that is a slightly different system.

Just tried to put a code in with the dashes. It took it for me. Maybe you copied a space at the beginning or the end?

I don't have a plan to make a computer version of this right now. Especially since they should have a webcam option in a future update. I may port it to iOS if I have time, but I'm not sure.
