OMG, NOOOOOOOOOO! =O

LOL, just because it doesn't work for you doesn't mean it won't work for me.

*One year in the future*

It's down to the final two! SuperWooper and _______ are duking it out for a shot at Worlds, and _____ starts with a Squirtle. SuperWooper looks worried! OH NO! HE STARTS WITH A CHARMANDER! Squirtle does twenty, POR, but no luck! Not another basic to be found. THAT'S THE GAME! _________ IS GOING TO WORLDS!

*AHHHHHHHH!*

Fizzle, Wobbuffet also takes psychic energy, so I'm hesitant, because my deck's already low on energy, and ditching another for a multi? IDK, 17 seems small.

I think Castform Rain would also be a good starter. Since I play 3 Blastoise ex, and a high number of POR, I know that every turn, if I play 4 Castform Rain, I'll be able to weed through ten cards of the deck. I think that's pretty decent, but Dunsparce could get both Castform Rain AND Squirtle AND tECh so I won't draw it when I use Castform Rain's attack. 3/3? 4/2? 2/4? I just don't know...

Wobbuffet will help loads, but I'd rather use tECh like Kyogre ex, Suicune ex or Tauros. Wobbo is most versitile, but....

Personally, I'd do 4 of each for Dunsparce and Castform, as starting with either of them will help you immensely, and whichever one you get in your opening hand, it will help you get its counterpart out. Just my opinion.

Though it seems like you can't find the room for that many... Which is totally understandable.

Right, this was my thinking at first, but right now my list goes 4/2 in Dunsparce's favor. Dunsparce can find the Castform and switch, then I can Eeeeek...er...Washdown...for five cards 2nd turn. Corsola is also cool, and Igglybuff is too...it's so hard to choose really. They're all good for a different purpose. I know I'll definitely be running Dunsparce, but as for the other....it's hard to choose.

I wish decks could be 62 cards.

IN OTHER NEWS:

Milotic has been translated successfully! Go to Pokemon Zeo and check out the ENGLISH scan of this card! It's power and second attack have both been translated from the spoiler, so that section of WalREIGN is a full speed ahead! It all hinges now on whether Nintendo will errata Blastoise ex. If they do...well...I'll play Blaziken. XP

Ermm.... How would Blastiose ex get errated?

Like they make it so you can only attach a certain number of energy, instead of it being unlimited, or that you can only use the power once per turn.

I doubt Blastoise ex will get errated.

As for starters, I like the idea of SARsing and running to a secondary starter. I'm also starting to take another look at Azuril. I just don't know. There's Dunsparce, Azuril, Corsola, Igglybuff, Rain Castform...
Azuril does get you Archie and Rare Candy afterall. If you play Azuril, probably play it with Sparce and/or Corsy. I'll be playtesting with each.

If you were to do that, I'd probably play Dunsparce and Corsola with 1 or 2 Azuril. Maybe 4 Sparce, 2 Azuril and 2 Corsola, I don't know. Or would you play multiple main starters or just one?

With Jirachi out, we've got some new possibilities for starters.
To chose from, we have
Dunsparce
Corsola
Igglybuff
Azurill
Castform Rain
Jirachi

The deck has room for about 7 starters. Some possibilities are:
Corsy Iggly
Dunny Corsy
Dunny Castform
Dunny Azurill
Dunny Castform/Corsy w/ a single Jirachi and/or Azurill tech
Castform Corsy

Corsy Iggly has the advantage of getting oyu lots of energy. Corsola has great straight draw which gets energy and Iggly searches for energy but is slower than Sparce at getting basics.

Dunny Corsy/Castform gets all the basics you need turn 1, and you can run to Corsy/Castform. Dunsparce is good, because, you can run and keep the energy for Walrein to use later. Corsy/Castform's draw is what you rely on for everything else.

Dunny Azurill leaves less up to luck, but doesn't get energy or draw, so you'll need to search for draw cards with Azurill. SARs and run to Azurill.

Dunny Corsy with a single Jirachi/Azurill will ensure that you get out everything you need, by SARsing and running to Azurill/Jirachi, whichever you need more. Azurill gets Candy and Archie; Jirachi evolves Squirtle (kinda nice vs ATM Rock)

Castform Corsy lets you sift through your deck to get what you need.

Woop, do you think you should play Steven's over TV Reporter?

..Fiziks..

Right now, I'm going 4-2 Dunsparce Castform Rain.

First turn, I get a Dunsparce. I attach and SARs for 1 Castform Rain, and at least 1 Squirtle, maybe two. I switch for the Castform Rain. Next turn I attempt to evolve to Wartortle or Rare Candy into Blastoise ex. Then I attach to Castform Rain and Washdown, or w/e the American translation is. I'm trying for a Blastoise ex. If I don't get it, I use POR or something else to try and find it. See, POR and Castform Rain's attack combined weed thru ten cards in my deck. When it gets to turn three, after I've gone through all of the following:

Cards in deck: 60
-7 for opening hand = 53
I go first, so I don't draw
-3 for SARs = 50
-1 for second turn draw = 49
-5 for Castform Rain's mini Eeeeek = 44
-1 for third turn draw = 43
-5 for POR = 38

That's more than a third of my deck, and if I used a draw card in the beginning turn, it's even more. I need 1 of 3 Blastoise ex and one of 5 Wartortle or Rare Candy. I think that's pull-off-able some of the time.

As for Reporter or Steven's, I'm still leaning towards Reporter! Battle Searcher can reuse the supporter I put in the discard with Reporter, and what if they have 3 or less pokemon? What THEN?!? IDK...but Reporter still looks good. The deck runs better with Reporter in my testing; I've upped battle searcher to 3 after seeing the incredible game-winning synergy. It's crazy, I tell you, and I know I'm not going 2-2. It's 4 of one or the other.

So convince me NOW!

Wooper, it's not really more than a third of your deck, since you're looking at the same cards over agin each time. (Pulling 2 marbles out of a bag with 10 and putting them back in and doing this 5 times won't go through all 10 marbles just because 2*5=10) Castform Rain seems like it may be a good way to go, but it is all up to luck, which is why I like the Azurill tech kinda.

This is untrue. It's possible to pull all ten out if you pull out 2 at a time 5 times completely at random.

It's just highly unlikely. Besides, if I shuffle well enough, hopefully onto 1-2 cards will repeat during the entire cycle mentioned 2 posts above.

Wooper, let this topic die. All of this and more can be covered by you and Mr. Anderson through AIM ;x

Harhar. Patriarch, I did let it die. Physics brought it back, so I posted on it for the heck of it. And then he said something mathematically incorrect, so I just HAD to correct that...

^_~

Yeah, let's let WalREIGN die in peace. No more Shiftry's, Dark Blastoise's or Furrets around here for a while please!

Wooper, it's a probability thing. The fact that it's highly unlikely is what makes the statement that you go through half your deck and inaccurate one. Your lack of math skizzle hurts, but that's what I'm here for, right?

Yes, the topic needs to die, so shutting up.

Lock Me, PLEASE!

Mods, please lock. I don't really have a use for this thread anymore, I can continue discussion elsewhere.

Thanks,
