Expedition Gengar is weak to Darkness and resistant to Fighting.

How do I resolve the damage if Gengar is attacked by TA/TM Groudon with Pulverize?

    TA/TM Groudon is a Darkness/Fighting dual-type Pokemon.

Pulverize does 50 damage (to a fully healthy Pokemon - there's additional damage if the Pokemon already has damage counters on it, but let's not worry about that for this example).

If I apply weakness first, then resistance, I'll take 70 damage.

If I apply resistance first, then weakness, I'll take 40 damage.

    So which is it?!

You apply weakness then resistance. lol I got a little confused at first too... But that's an official ruling.
