Rockford Great Encounters Prerelease - Sat 2/2

Another great success for Camille and team! We had a blast and it was exciting to have almost 90 people participating!! Bring on states!!
 
86 people, 14 of those in the PCDs. We almost ran out of product for the Side events!!!

Always love working these, and I can't wait for States!
 
Yes what a FANTASTIC time we all had!! The room was FULL of fun and excitement! We were like a hair away from having to turn people away at the end, since people kept coming and coming, and we used up literally everything we had ordered! We even had to cut down the structure for the side events because we ran out of prize packs, but we still had a great time even after the main events!

72 for the Main event,
14 for the Theme Deck Challenge
86 total players!

Ya baby! Rockford ROCKS!!! Great time for everyone, myself included! And I've got the best staff and helpers anywhere!

I'll post winners in a sec when I get some things put away. Still bringing stuff in from the car! :)
 
What was even kooler (for me at least), the Junior and Seniors BOTH matched the Masters for attendance.

I think it was something like 25-23-24 as the breakdown.

Yes that's right! Actually they beat the Masters! Quite a number of our usual Masters weren't there... can you imagine if they would have been?? :eek:

Man, I wish the main site gave stats for the TDC with the main event...

How many places actually run the TDC? I don't see it in very many places...
 
I know, I wish they included it in the stats as well. Their involvement is every bit as vital to Prereleases as the main event participant's is. A lot of times that's where the newest players are... the future of the game!
 
The tournament was great, and I really had a good time. Level X's were in great demand, as my two younger siblings who got Darkrai and Cresselia Lv. X were followed around by tons of people trying to get them to trade.

And yes Mike, it IS fun, GREAT fun! Unfortunately my back problem doesn't agree with me >.< I've gotta be more careful at States or ... well I won't go there, I'll just be more careful.
