ERRATA

----------------------------------------------------------------------
POKEMON POWERS
----------------------------------------------------------------------

== DARK AND CLEAR (Rocket's Suicune EX - EX:Team Rocket Returns)

Q. Let's say Rocket's Suicune-EX has a special condition and it has no Darkness
Energy currently on it. If I attach a Darkness Energy does the special condition
go away or does it remain?
A. Yes, attaching or moving a Darkness Energy onto Rocket's Suicune-EX would
cure it of any special conditions. (Jan 27, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

== METHANE LEAK (Dark Weezing - EX:Team Rocket Returns)

Q. In 2-on-2 Play, if you have 2 Dark Weezings active is the "Methane Leak"
Poke-BODY cumulative so that both of them each add a damage counter between
turns?
A. Yes, in the case of 2-on-2 Play "Methane Leak" is cumulative. Two active
Dark Weezings would result in two additional counters per turn if the opponent
is poisoned. (Jan 27, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

== MIRROR COAT (Wobbuffet - Skyridge)

Q. If Skyridge Wobbuffet is attacked by "Toxic" or "Triple Poison", does the
attacking Pokémon also receive the double-poison or triple-poison special
condition too?
A. They are Poisoned, but it is just normal Poison and they take only one damage
counter between turns. (Jan 27, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

***** PREVIOUS RULING: THIS ONE HAS BEEN OVERRULED BY JAPAN; See Above
*****
Q. If Skyridge Wobbuffet is attacked by "Toxic" or "Triple Poison", does
the attacking Pokémon also receive the double-poison or triple-poison special
condition too?
A. Yes, that is correct. (Jul 1, 2004 PUI Rules Team)

== SOOTH DUST (Butterfree - EX:Fire Red / Leaf Green)

Q. In 2-on-2 Play, if you have 2 Butterfrees active does the "Sooth Dust"
healing stack? ie take off two damage counters between turns?
A. Yes, in the case of 2-on-2 Play "Sooth Dust" is cumulative. (Jan 27, 2005 PUI
Rules Team)

== STICKY GOO (Dark Muk - EX:Team Rocket Returns)

Q. In 2-on-2 Play, if you have 2 Dark Muks active is the "Sticky Goo" Poke-BODY
cumulative so that your opponent would have to pay FOUR additional energies to
retreat?
A. Yes, in the case of 2-on-2 Play "Sticky Goo" is cumulative like that. (Jan
27, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

----------------------------------------------------------------------
POKEMON ATTACKS
----------------------------------------------------------------------

== DARK SEED (Dark Raticate - EX:Team Rocket Returns)

Q. If you attack with Dark Raticate's "Dark Seed" attack, and on your oppenent's
turn they evolve their Active Pokemon, does the effect of the Dark Seed attack
go away?
A. Yes, the effect is on the Defending Pokemon, not the Dark Raticate. So if
the Defending Pokemon evolves, retreats, etc. the effect goes away and no damage
is taken. (Jan 27, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

== EXPLOSIVE EVOLUTION (Dark Pupitar - Neo: Destiny Expansion, Dark Pupitar -
EX:Team Rocket Returns)

Q. Say I have Dark Tyranitar with a Memory Berry attached, or I play a Recall
trainer card, or if the Meteor Falls stadium is in play. What happens if I try
to have it use the underlying Dark Pupitar's "Explosive Evolution" attack?
A. You cannot search since there does not exist a card that can be searched for
that evolves from Dark Tyranitar. But it would still do 10 damage to your
opponent's Pokemon. (Jan 27, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

== LOOK FOR FRIENDS (Cubone - EX:Team Rocket Returns)

Q. Say I use Cubone's "Look For Friends" attack and the first card I pick up
from my deck is a Basic. Since I did not reveal any other cards, am I still
supposed to shuffle my deck?
A. If Cubone pulls a Basic Card as the first revealed card, the deck is not
shuffled as there are no as there are no "other revealed cards" to shuffle back
in. (Jan 27, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

----------------------------------------------------------------------
TRAINER CARDS
----------------------------------------------------------------------

== SWOOP! TELEPORTER (EX:Team Rocket Returns)

Q. Can you play Swoop Teleporter with only 1 Pokemon in play?
A. The change of Pokemon is considered to be happening instantaneously, just
like when you Retreat/Switch. In practice, since you have to manipulate cards in
real time, there are moments when you have no Pokemon Active (or in Play), but
in Game terms, that time does not exist. (Jan 27, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

Q. What happens if you play Swoop Teleporter and there are no Basic Pokemon or
only Pokemon-EX left in my deck? Do I still have to put my first Basic into the
discard pile?
A. No, you only put the Basic into the discard pile after finding a Basic in
your search results. (Jan 27, 2005 PUI Rules Team)

A. Yes, in the case of 2-on-2 Play "Methane Leak" is cumulative. Two active
Dark Weezings would result in two additional counters per turn if the opponent
is poisoned. (Jan 27, 2005 PUI Rules Team)
